Taking a week off of exercise every once in a while is actually good for you. You could always just walk if that is ok. It is exercise too.

This is a good routine. Especially the burpees which I hate. Make sure the weights are heavy enough to be hard. I would add pullups or negatives as well. You might need a pull up bar for that though.

Pull-ups, bent-over rows, lawn-mowers. are the ones I do.

You could try this in a circuit style with little to no rest between exercises. That usually wear's me out pretty quick. Also I agree with YakAttack6. Could use more compound lifts instead of the isolation exercises.

I also quit smoking but it took me a few years after that to start making healthy habits. I think it is 30 days to make a habit. Once it is a habit it is hard to break. So doing healthy things for 30 days is the hard part. It worked for me. I love working out and eating healthy. Getting every one else to do the same thing…

You may or may not not be able to go as heavy but you could use dumb bells. That is what I do. It is much easier on my back but a lot harder on my hand grip.
