  • Fit is key, some locals will charge for a fitting $250 sounds a bit extreme, but hey if it provides you with a ride that works who knows. My wife has a 105/tiagra mix on her bike and loves it (Tiagra Shifters and 105 derailieurs) we ride 50 to 80 a week. Get out and ride..;) P.S. I like the Specialized Compact.
  • Don't get trapped by the calorie question, look at fat and sodium. Mcd's has so much in it, it's ridiculous. From their web site one lousy mcchicken 16 gms of fat and 800mg of sodium. That said what the hell one a week isn't going to kill you...;)

  • It's aggravating for sure, I added a nice bright flashing led taillight to my wedge bag. It has cut down on the get off the road comments, I think nay no that when I can see a cyclist far enough away I can plan to give them room. Keep riding - Keep safe
  • I'm 6' 7" 245 as of today...IMHO carbon is great if you weigh in at jockey weights. Anything over 200 and you are asking for trouble, think about it, the difference in weight between similarly equipped carbon, aluminum, and steel bikes is 2-3 lbs that's it.
