Very nice :)

And now I have to come up with a less graphic explanation of why I just spit coffee on my monitor while laughing. :)

Thanks :) I just wish that I could finish them as quickly as you. I'm always pushing closer than I'd like to course closing times.

I'm going a bit nuts with my schedule for the fall. I'm trying to complete a marathon challenge (30 States in 365 days). Here's part of my schedule: 19-Aug-2012 Drake Well Marathon (Titusville, PA) 26-Aug-2012 Parker’s Marathon (Harrisville, WV) 02-Sep-2012 Tupelo Marathon (Tupelo, MS) 23-Sep-2012 Omaha Marathon (Omaha,…

Likewise.

With your training, and the timetable you're suggesting, I'd say go for it. Key point as always, though - Listen to your body. Don't risk injury just to prove to yourself that you can complete them all. I'm not a strong runner when it comes to speed, but I've now completed four marathons in two months (two in May, two in…

Congrats! Do it - When you push yourself through those barriers, mental and/or physical, you deserve to celebrate it!

I used to run because I had to do so when I was enlisted. Years later, I started running because I had a pretty girl, with the right set of blue eyes ask, "Are you running the 10K with us next month?" ...Why yes, yes I am  Then for years I continued to run just to prove to myself that I could finish the races I…

I learned to cook because I love to play with flavors. I learned to cook *with* someone because I love to play with flavors. That is all.

Likewise. And then it kinda grossed me out when my mind went from the digestive method to the manual method. :indifferent:
-
Personally, I don't bother with them for any running events/training that isn't going to be well past an hour.

That's a bit disturbing... My Fitness Predator?

^^^Hell yes.

Here's the recipe that triggered my recent cauliflower purchase. Haven't tried it yet, though, so no personal review/opinion. http://foododelmundo.com/2009/11/19/mashed-califlower/ Edit: Forgot to add the link :ohwell:

Bump - Dinner tonight!

I've tried (and continue to try) new foods all the time just to add them to my list. That said, the oddest (and most pungent) dish was a combination of: Sea urchin Fermented soybeans Raw quail egg I can't remember the name of the dish, but now that I've tried it, I'll pass on it in the future.

Yes. ... and tattoos as a little window dressing are pretty awesome, too.

Great mindset. I may steal this ;)

I'm absent-minded, so I had to set an alarm on my phone to remind me to go to bed at a set time. Any variation tends to mean that I sleep through my (3) alarms in the morning. When I stick to it, it makes getting up and moving much easier.
-
Neither would I. This wouldn't be a side dish for me. It'd be my entree. Thanks for the recipe, OP.

I usually prefer to eat something small about 15-30 minutes before I run. Most often, a plain bagel. That and a glass of water and I end up feeling considerably better on the road.
-
Yeah. I'm just gonna go over here and sleep in a sealed chamber from now on. Thanks, Cory. I'm typically fine with spiders, but yeesh!

Unless you're watching the ASL video. I mean, c'mon! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmKnQjBf8wM

I've yet to decide on a specific track, but I've always been of the opinion that if I had theme music, there would have to be a horn section.

Once every week or two. Too much fluctuation during the course of a single day (that would drive me nuts) and as I'm approaching my target, I'm becoming less concerned about daily updates. That said, I will weigh in out of sequence if it's a race day. I just like to have a bit more accuracy in the calculation/approximation…

"You know what a rebound is? That business of trying to get over one love by bouncing into love with somebody else? It's fine, except the rebound is rarely the real thing. As a matter of fact, it's the bunk. There's the first bounce, then the second bounce, and - well look at me. You wind up like an old tennis ball."

If it's important to you, go for it. Tattoos are a common topic here. I'll leave others to comment on the whole permanency factor yada-yada. Personally, I love ink on women. But the most important factor is how you feel about it. If you want it, you should do it.

Bump :)
