My girlfriend can run 6.5 miles on level treadmill for 30 minutes. At the same time I can walk at 4 miles an hour on a 8% incline and burn the same calories. A lot less impact on my joints..But on a level playing field running burns a lot more then walking.

Beachbody's program called BODY BEAST. I'm not a beach body coach and have no dog in the fight. I've gone from 157lbs @ 12/5% body fat to 167lbs @ 13% body fat.

Not a Beachbody coach...no dog in the hunt. Good program, Body Beast... I'm pushing 52 years old. I've always been a speed and agility guy. But started to shift gears and move towards bulking up a bit. I've went from 157 pounds at 12.5% BF to 167 pounds at 13% body fat.

What is your age height and current weight?

.75 to 1 gram is good for a average person working out moderately. If your building muscle you will need much more. Normally I eat 50% carbs 30% protein and 20% fat. When bulking I eat 40% carbs 40% protein ad 20% fat. I'm 5 10 and weight 167 lbs. I'm in agreement with JayDam1.

Cheat day BAD! Cheat MEAL every 7 to 10 days GOOD! Your body will learn to burn the set number of calories per day based on what you eat and what you burn. Throwing a cheat meal in from time to time tricks your system into burning extra calories that enter your system, kind of like attacking a virus. But, as stated in a…

You will burn less calories weight training and build more muscle (which is learner but heavier then fat) so you should look thinner but weight more....staring at the scale is not the answer. For your height, age and current weight 1200 to 1400 calories is fine. What's most important is you breakdown of Fat, Carbs and…

Cheat meal from time to time can be a good thing, but if strict discipline is the way you prefer then stick to your plan. 36 pounds later and 1/2 my body fat GONE, and I've tried both ways. I stuck to the discipline till I achived my end goal then allowed a cheat meal per week from then on. Good Luck to all of you, YOU CAN…
