Did some more research. First thing -I'll be getting some new shoes at a running store. The foam roller appears to be a great tool to get the most out of the simple exercises. Will also be looking into the supplements. Glad to hear this problem CAN be a thing of the past!

hmmm, making the cut sounds interesting - has a lot of great reviews. Worried about my knee though - has anyone else ever had runners knee? Need tips on how to get back into more challenging exercise routine without it flaring up again!! (just walking/jogging now trying to build up the strength)

I also fit in this category. 5'4 currently 133. Would like to get to the 120-125 range. I'm just recently really getting started, hope I can stay motivated! My family (on mothers side) are all very large - I am no where near skin and bones, but my family seems to always think I need fattening up... very frustrating.

You know, I'm feeling really positive right now. It's great to see how many people there are in the same situation (or similar) as myself. I think I'm going to get off my bottom right now and go work out (and drink a lot of water while doing it). I know we can all do this!!

Thanks guys! I like the idea of a Valentines Day challenge (sounds like it might come with a special night out!)- will have to really look at a lot of the different threads. Must admit, it's a little overwhelming.

Water is such a challenge! I'm also a teacher... but I don't think this is my problem. I just don't get thirsty much and have always only drank liquids with a meal or with exercise.
