Whole grain anything is technically good carbs. I prefer "low carb tortillas" those are usually multigrain. Most people consider fruits good carbs....i'm not really a good carb/bad carb guy, more into low carb.

The big thing with free weights is you build muscle stabilizing them, especially dumbbells. Also, they build up your joints so you can lift more, i heard it said once that there are people who have machine strength that are huge but can't lift that much because they're joints aren't strong enough.

The correct answer is yesterday. Start by getting an e-cig, (i don't smoke... but i have) it's literally just like smoking. No chemicals except nicotine and no ACTUAL smoke, just water vapor, but it feels exactly the same.

Yeah but your pelvic area could have an inch of fat around it, if you lose the fat, you would gain that at the bottom. It's a believable theory

Another thing you can do is instead of doing what MFP tells you, simply do 10-12 times your body weight. So if you weigh 160 pounds you should eat 1600-1800 calories. 1600 is about a pound a week and 1800 about .5 pound a week

usually shin splints are due to bad form. That is why people think they are due to inactivity. Actually they aren't your body adjusting to new exercise, they are you body slowly getting better form at running. The best way to prevent them is to avoid heel hitting and run on the bone just below your toes. Also knee high…

I just ate a raw sweet potato...loving it. Raw veggies are my favorite snacks because they are low in calories and high in fiber. Another thing i like is Coco's...i dont think they sell them everywhere but its basically this rice patty type thing they sell in pennsylvania that is only 16 calories each. Tuna is good if you…

that is a deficit of 3250 actually. 5000 would be two pounds. Still unlikely. That said, "water weight" is losing THE WATER HELD IN YOUR FAT CELLS, so technically speaking you would still be looking thinner. That is a common misconception.
