The only carbs I intentionally stay away from is past and bread...I do eat tortillias though...and lots of veggies...so i cant really help you there
but protein is in tuna, egg whites (liquids are awesome) cheese if you can handle dairy, nuts, beans, chicken...
    hope this helps a little
  • Interesting. Here I thought we were suppose to stay away from cheese and that pasta was good for you. I have a lot to learn. Thanks for the tips!
  • Go for Whole Grain pasta if you're going to do pasta. It's much better for you and has some good fiber. =)
  • Whole grain anything is technically good carbs. I prefer "low carb tortillas" those are usually multigrain. Most people consider fruits good carbs....i'm not really a good carb/bad carb guy, more into low carb.
  • This should help you with your shopping list.

Just remember everything in moderation. I know that pasta is not a good carb, but I love it so I allow myself to eat it once a week and limit my portion.

Hi, There is a book ("Belly Fat Diet") on these. they call them MUFA's (moo-fa-s). Monounsaturated fats. some foods that have them are: olive oil, avocados, dark chocolate, nuts (like walnuts & pistachios), olives, salmon. Hope this helps.
