Protein shakes...blend 5 ice cubes, 1cup water, 1 scoop of whey protein (be sure it's low calorie @ 140, low carb @ 6 and low sugar @ 2). After a month you will crave them!!! More ice if you want to eat it with a spoon.

Protein fuels the muscular body you are after. If you eat a lot of protein already you don't need to. Food is carb/protein/fat...which do you think would give you the body you want? Low carb and low fat diets lose weight (aka eating lots of protein) NOT high carbs or high fat. lol I've found that 2 single scoop protein…

24 minute 5ks! Wow...I'm impressed. Thanks for confirming the tips! I've done 5Ks, but 2 where fun runs with crazy outfits 5-20,000 people...which slowed me down. This Saturday marks 1 yr since my first and I finished in just a hair under 30min, so I'm shooting for 29. Wish me luck!

I can't eat and run at all, so good balanced dinner and nothing in the morning but gum. Shoes haven't changed the knees scar tissue, but I can always try a different store. Thanks!

Interval training...at the end interesting suggestion. Thanks!

This is my 4th 5k and I've always paced around 10minute miles. Maybe if I paced at 9min I'd lower my time, just scared to not finish without stopping.

I work out like you and know the feeling, but very 3500 calories is just 1 lb. Try mixing it up. Drop your calories to 1200 for a week regaurdless of how much you are burning, then have a cheat day to throw your body off with 1800+ calories once a week. Also trying different exercise like biking or yoga can help. Good luck!

I became a veggie (no meat-just dairy and eggs) at 12 yrs old and in 4 months I went from a size 12 to an 8. My family wouldn't eat anything different, so I just ate more of the healthy sides my mom served. Just beware of breads, pasta and based meals rice meals. I ate those in college and after, which got me back the size…

I've been a veggie for 20 years and know it keeps me lean, but I need to eat less processed foods...so yes I'm on board with you.

Are you logging in the right portions? With 1200-1400 calories, anyone should lose weight. If yes-try eating different foods. For example nothing processed aka doesn't come in a box, can or plastic. :)
