I am 5'11" and I started out around 215. Currently weigh 168. I absolutely love to see others eating a decent amount of calories and not torturing themselves with 1200 calories per day!

I do not trust anything that says to limit your intake of fruits and vegetables. Every single pound you see lost on my ticker has been from ignoring the sugar recommendation when it comes to all natural sources. I eat any and all fruit- even the incredibly high in sugar grapes, bananas, and dates. *gasp*

A B-Vitamin Complex. I suffer from awful allergies all year round- fluid in my ear, swollen glands, drainage, THE WORKS. And since I have started taking a B-vitamin complex, my allergy symptoms have been cut in half!

I would stop weighing yourself every day. Mine can change as much as 5lbs in a day, or even from the morning to evening. It will drive you insane if you weigh every single day.

Watching sodium is a given, but try to up your natural diuretics. Add lemon juice to your water and drink green tea. Both help shed some water weight and help me immensely.

Seitan/vital wheat gluten is insanely cheap, you just have to make it yourself. If you cannot find shelf stable things cheap in your area, I suggest checking Amazon. I retain water all the time and I have no underlying health issues. I watch my sodium and I hit the water hard (120oz per day). I also add lemon juice to my water as it is a natural diuretic and will help you lose water weight.

I would love more running friends! I am not a super serious runner, but I do run 4-5 miles 3 to 4 times per week. And most of my runs are done pushing a jogging stroller (except on weekends), so I would especially love other moms who push a jogging stroller!
