  • You're doing awesome! That first progress pic...wow what a difference! I could see the start of definition in your arms amd your stomach was so much flatter. Inspirational!
  • I cut way back by making spritzers with mineral water (both for red and white). So instead of having 2 glasses in a night I end up only having 1. Its been easy to do since (as someone else mentioned) it seems so much sweeter now.

  • Me neither! And I was proud of hubs he just started keto yesterday and did not cave even though we were giving away kit kats (his favorite).

  • How did I miss this thread? This is the keto shepherd's pie I made last night. Tasted just like the potato version! No...better!
  • I had a similar experience. My feet were so sore in the mornings it was excrutiating. 2 weeks into Keto and all foot pain gone! But if I bimge on carbs the next day is definitely a reminder of why I need to stick to protein and fat. Ouch!
  • Thank you :-). Its a journey. Im happy to celebrate the incremental victories.
  • Feel free to add me as well.
  • Order it without noodles and put shiratake tofu noodles in yourself. (On a side note...Pho is Vietnamese not Thai  )
  • Welcome to the board! Feel free to add me as well. @champak045 I would say that avocados, eggs, butter and heavy cream would be a low carb vegetarian's best friends. That an coconut oil, almond butter (in small quantities), cream cheese, cheese in general, and even more butter and eggs. Good grass fed butter (like kerry…
  • I tell them 'my doctor is fine with my goal'. that usually shuts people right up.
  • NSV - shrinking fingers so I can finally wear the gorgeous right hand ring my hubs got me. The fingers on my right hand were always fluffier than my left but today they suddenly shrank!

  • Once I reach true single digit pant sizes Im rewarding myself with a new wardrobe and a beach vacation. I just turned 40 and my goal is to feel and look better at 40 than I did at 30. Totally achievable.
  • Thanks guys!!!! You guys are the best!
  • Thank you for posting! Very inspiring and you look amazing.
  • Why not just have some blueberries (maybe with full fat greek yogurt) and then not have any other carbs that day. I get the same cravings for fruit and that's what I do when they hit and Ive managed to stay in ketosis. I tend to eat the berries toward the end of the day and I find it doesnt increase my sugar cravings…
  • Update...4 lbs from onederland! And I know the loss is real because I can see it in the way my pants are fitting. After today no more weighing until end of August!
  • @samanthaluangphixay Couldnt you take a roadtrip to Seattle? Or the train? Do you have a US visa? I wonder if seattle has a Aldi? Maybe you and I could house swap. Ive always wanted to live in Vancouver. How are you with heat? Im in Austin :-) Its a but 'warmer' than Vancouver!
  • I am sedentary and eat around 1200-1400 and am losing . Im 5'7'' female currently at 204 lbs. Started at 220. My macros are 5/70/25. I find I have very low appetite with these macros so I am able to eat only 2 meals a day (lunch and dinner). In this way I take advantage of intermittent fasting. I can eat 1600-1700 and…
  • That's awesome! I too have lost a lot of weight with zero exercise. I find exercise just makes me hubgrier and tired. I do keto so I eat a lot of fat and protein so no muscle loss over here. I will start lifting weights soon because I like what it does to the shape of my legs and butt...but no endless cardio for me. :-)
  • You guys are all awesome!! Thank you so much for the inspirations and really practical advice. I think I will be putting the scale away for the month of August and see where that takes me. Also love the 'bank account' analogy @Sunny_Bunny_. Its so helpful to think of thinks as a progress savings account. Really appreciate…
  • I would say stick with it for at least another week. What are your protein to fat ratios? It almost sounds like you're not eating enough fat. Another thing you can try is to eat less frequently. Allow at least a full 5 hours between meals. Once your body is adapted to burning fat for fuel you can start trying intermittent…
  • I love following your progress @kathrout1973! Keep up the good work. You're 50% through the month. Amazing how quickly time flies.
  • Thanks for posting this. Im so sick of how we have allowed our goverment to sell us out to economic interest.
  • Following...I was wondering the same thing. Im guessing with food or bpc is best.
  • Totally visible awesome progress!!!
  • Feeling confident enough in my own body to not cross my arms over my stomach when I sit (as if it hides the rolls)...instead to sit with my arms resting comfortably on the arm rests like a queen! ;-). I haven't gotten back to this state yet (about 30lbs to go) but I remember what it felt like so getting back there keeps me…
  • Cant tell if this was meant as a joke :-). Commercial growers spray crops with ammonia and water after picking. Any vegetable can have e colli even one you grow in your own garden if you use compost. Washing cures that. Meat could have mad cow or salmonella etc. All avoidable with proper food handling.
  • There's a little camera button on the app version. On the desktop version also but you have to have your photo on the desktop.
  • Wow! You look younger than your son!!!! Congratulations
  • You should check out the other thread on here names 'HALP lifting heavy made me bulky' and you'll start lifting heavy tomorrow! Its not easy for a woman to gain a lot of muscle so the fear is unfounded. I think you will be happy with results of lifting heavy.
