The keto diet is an anti-inflammatory diet. So if you have inflammatory issues, the diet should help.

Since eating Keto does not focus on calories, I just try to keep my carbs in check. It really matters little how many calories one eats if the other macros are in balance.

Thanks. I just printed out the recipe and will try making them tomorrow. Looks good!

I have also tried it, and it is just OK. You have to put stuff on it to give it any taste at all. I will not buy it again.

My Dr. just told me it wasn't that bad yet and we didn't need to do anything about it. At that point he almost swallowed his teeth. I went on to lose 40 lbs. and when I went back he praised me for losing wt., my liver enzymes were normal and when I told him I did it with low carb, he told me it was impossible and that I…

I have a recipe very similar to this one and it slips right out of the mug and it is very good. I also use a cream cheese icing on it that is made with splenda that is very good. 8 oz cream cheese, 1 cup splenda 2 T butter, blend together, spread on the muffin, the only problem is eating too much of it.

That's impressive!

If you have ever taken anatomy and dissected out nerves, tendons, muscles, etc. it is very hard not to continue to do so when the animal is on your plate. After do this it is even harder to eat said animal without barfing. If it doesn't look like an animal part, it is much easier to eat. At least that is my take. I also…

I've been in nursing school and took nutrition in 1969-70 school year-however, one only remembers what one wants to remember. Or - if you don't use it you lose it.

Fantastic! You are truly amazing! Congratulations!

I'm within 10lbs of my goal and just keep bouncing around the same 5lbs, so i'm trying fat bomb tea with protein drinks a couple of times a day. I'll let you know how long that lasts.

It is my understanding from my Dr. that vit B12 is destroyed in the gut when one is taking metformin, therefore one needs to take the sublingual kind or shots. That may be one of the reasons that your B12 levels are low.

The fat is stored in our bodies to be used as fuel when we cannot eat, so use it. Our bodies are too smart to use muscle for fuel when there is fat to be used. That is what it was put there for, so if you are not hungry, don't eat and use the fat that is stored in the pantry.

I have the one that mounts onto my kitchen aid mixer. It is truly great if you are doing a whole lot of veggies. It also has the mandolins thick, thin and in between . Expensive though.

My daughter lives in central California and there are a lot of feed lots there with dairy cows all owed by Land of Lakes. Those poor cows live their entire lives on huge piles of manure. They wouldn't know what to do with a blade of green grass if they saw one, and I am fairly sure that they never have seen anything green…

I had that problem and when I asked my Dr. about it she recommend that I take Biotin or Vit B7. It took a while, but the hair loss has slowed considerably.

They are carbs that have to be counted, if you are counting carbs.
-
That is totally amazing! You are doing great and your Dr. will be very pleased. It is so gratifying for a Dr. to see a patient who takes advise seriously and does something about their issues and improve their life style. Your progress is awesome!

Thanks, I should try making my own. I make everything else myself, why not salad dressing?
-
Sorry you are sick, hope you feel better soon.

Throw away is better, then you can't go get it later.

Thanks for the reference to Blood Sugar 101, I will look into it.
