Did you exercise much before, or was this the get moving program? Not really, now I exercise at least four times a week. Were you doing it just to get into running or did you have a race scheduled? I WANTED to be a runner. Were you a runner first or was this your start into running? My start into running. Did you ever…

^^This. I completed C25K and just finished B210K (running 60 minutes straight). It's an awesome feeling! Make sure you have good shoes, slow the pace...even if it's a "snail's pace" and run every two days instead of every other to give your body more time to recuperate (that's what I did). Don't give up!

<HATED Running. I used to think...if I'm running...someone better be chasing me! I am a C25K graduate and am now on week five of the six weeks for B210K (Bridge to 10K). Still don't consider myself a runner...but I'm well on my way. Yes, the scale has moved in the right direction and am my clothes are fitting much better!…

Depends if you want to make your own or grab something quick. Making my own...I like a scoop of EAS Vanilla Whey protein (130 cal, 26g protein), a cup of unsweetened almond milk (40 cal) and a tablespoon of peanut butter powder (PB2 22.5 cal)...sometimes I add a bannana. For quick ready to drink...I like Chocolate Premier…

Totally understand the safety issue. When I run outside, I only wear one ear bud. I'm not out to "win" the race or any prize...just want to knock it off my bucket list. I'm running with friends (I've always run alone)...so it may not even be an issue on race day! Thanks everyone for your input.

I like drinking a protein shake within 30 minutes of waking up to "kick start" my metabolism. Keeps me satisfied for a few hours when I actually have breakfast. I use EAS Whey Vanilla, mixes well, lower carbs and sugar, 150 calories and 26 protein per serving. Fairly inexpensive and I can get it in my grocery store and…

I'm in! First...I HATED running. Then I did C25K, loved it. Currently on B210K, loving it. Just got 30DS and want to start soon and mix it up with my running as well. What size weights are you using?

TOTALLY AGREE! www.skinnytaste.com is AWESOME! Just had the Chicken Taco Chili this weekend...DELICIOUS!

Mine would read: " I DO CARDIO FOR BEER! "

Hope I didn't offend you...I think she was actually trying to "Beat" her boyfriend...he was next to her and running just fine at 7.5.

On days that I have "extra calories" to eat back...I double the peanut butter powder and use a whole banana!
-
My new favorite within 30 minutes of waking up: 1 Cup Almond Milk (unsweetened) 1 TBSP PB2 Peanut Butter Powder 1 Scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder 1/2 Banana Mix in blender. I don't add ice, just a personal preference. Makes one serving. 246 calories, 21 carbs, 8 fat, 28 protein, 5 fiber.

No...the FT4: User-replaceable battery. Love mine!

Bump. Wondering the same thing!

I completed C25K and am now on B210K. Slow your pace a little until you can run the 25 minutes without stopping. You're doing great! Never give up...just keep running...regardless of how fast/slow you are!
-
1200 daily calories...I WAS NOT eating back my burn (cardio 3 - 4 x week, 60 min each) and only lost two pounds in the first month or so. It was discouraging that the scale wasn't moving, but I felt better and my clothes fit a little better. This past week, I decided to eat back my burn and lost three pounds so far this…

I just bought the Polar FT4 on Amazon yesterday and it arrived today (with standard shipping!). Haven't used it yet, but it had good reviews, was fairly inexpensive and recommended for beginners. You can also change the battery yourself, which some require you to send it back to the manufacturere to do. I'll try to check…

Same question...how do you customize your protein/carb percentages?
-
W2D2 Done

Take a look at your own post...sounds like you enjoy the gym and didn't really use the treadmill. Personally...if I worked in my home 12 hours a day...going to the gym would be a nice incentive to work out and get out of the house...even if for your own sanity!
-
I HATED running...still don't really like it...but oddly look forward to it...all started with C25K (Couch to 5K)...now I'm on my first week of B210K (Bridge to 10K). I WILL become a runner and I WILL like it! You can download the apps on your iPhone/iPod Touch, Androids etc. and run with your own music playlists!
-
SlackerMommy...try changing up your music! You can do this!

W1D2 completed on 1/24/12...little harder than the first day...think I ate lunch too close to running (45 min). Day three tomorrow.
