  • I’d be happy to be friends here with you or anyone else who is in it to win it!! I’ve got at least 50 lbs to lose! I have a Fitbit too! Ten years ago, I first joined MFP after seeing that I weighed the most that I had ever weighed…. I worked my *kitten* off and lost 27lbs back then! A lifetime of change has passed over…
  • Please feel free to add me as well, I'm getting back on the MFP wagon and would love more support!
  • Hi! I'm on day 16 today but happy to cheer you on! I'm thinking of doing more than 30 days so I'd be happy to connect so we can share ideas. Hope you are doing well on W30 so far.

  • Hello! I just started the whole30 and would love the support! Feel free to add me!
  • My mini goal is to work out at least 4x a week, and to make veggies more than half my plate for 2 meals a day. First weight loss goal is to get to a manageable weight -- that is 25 lbs away for me! A long way to go, but adding more exercise is helpful!
  • Hi Ladies, I'm a bit taller than the thread title (5'6") but I do have about 30 lbs to lose for my first goal. It is a long, hard battle, but I'm re-committed to this, and I would love to have other active and supportive women on my team to help cheer each other on! Please feel free to send me a friend request so we can…
  • Hi Folks! I'm looking for more active friends on MFP to join me and help keep each other going towards our goals. I'll add some of you, feel free to add me as well! Looking to be more healthy even as we get to the new year and beyond.
  • Hi! Feel free to add me. I've been on this road a few times before, and I really want to stick to it and have some active MFPals join me. I hope we can support each other to reach our goals!
  • Hi Folks, I'm looking for more active people willing to support one another, so feel free to add me!
  • Well, last week was sort of a "just do what you can week" as I had family visiting from Europe staying with me for the week. A lot of entertaining, and eating things that I aren't part of my plan, and as a result I haven't lost anything. But... I'm still where I was on 5/12 so I guess that is in a way better than gaining!…
  • @christihubbart what was the program that worked for your friend?
  • Hi Everyone. hope everyone is doing ok. I'm definitely feeling the sloooooooowwwwwwwwness of this whole thing, and I too have hypothyroidism, and it seems like if I am even a BIT off my calorie goal, I instantly gain. Last week was tough, I had family staying with me for the week and although I got my exercise in, I did…
  • Hi All, I took some time off from the forum b/c I was feeling SO frustrated with my lack of loss, in fact going up a wee bit for four weeks in a row, but I've made some changes and finally see a change on the scale too. So, here's my update as of today: Start Weight (May 1st): 184 Goal Weight (June 5th): 178 Ultimate Goal…
  • @julia123xyzabc I definitely do not weigh myself every day, I really don't think that there is a point to it! soooo many factors go into daily weight fluctuations (salt, bathroom visits, TOM, water, etc) and it has nothing to do with the work you do to get healthier... it only makes you feel frustrated and demotivated..…
  • @serafina57 I totally get it!! I'm also not losing, which stinks! As someone said to me... we just gotta keep at it. Every healthy thing we are doing is going to make a better, healthier body... I know, I know, people say the same to me. It stinks that the number on the scale isn't budging, but I guess we have to have…
  • Haha, yea I love water and I pretty much only drink water and no other beverages... In one way the desk job helps! I just keep a big pitcher next to me and drink all day long :) thanks for your encouragement :)
  • Thanks for the post, @julia123xyzabc definitely appreciate the concern and advice :) water is one thing I get a lot of... I drink at least 90 oz every day. I think a big part of my not losing is I have a chained-to-the-desk type job, and also I do have hypothyroidism, even tho I'm taking meds to regulate it. I agree it…
  • Hi All, I'm new to the group and getting ready to start a keto diet soon. I'm taking some time to do some reading and prep before I jump in.. better to be prepared! I drink 90 oz of water a day, work out regularly, and have been sticking to 1600ish to 1800 if I work out calories, and have not seen a change in my body for 4…
  • Hey all... I'm checking in. Heading into the weekend, I'm feeling pretty frustrated. I have been sticking to my calorie goal (not perfectly but generally pretty well).. I'm feeling frustrated because basically it has been four weeks and I haven't seen a change on the scale. I'm really at the start of my loss goal, so it is…
  • Hi All-- Julia, I have a similar technique as Connie-- the biggest thing that helps me is eeeeeeeeeevery day, even if I'm super tired the night before, packing my lunch and snacks. I even make sure I have some sort of veggie snack to take in the car with me on the commute home so I don't devour everything in sight when I…
  • Happy May! I'm 5' 6" and would love to have any of you as new pals here, feel free to add me. If you are my height and have similar weight goals, that's even better. I love to hear about other people's goals and how they get there. Start Weight (May 1st): 184 Goal Weight (June 5th): 178 Ultimate Goal Weight: 155 Weigh-Ins…
  • Hope everyone's doing well today! I made it to the gym today at lunch, feeling good after sweating a bunch on the arch trainer. (which I really like, btw, and if your gym has one, try it! Easy on the knees and a better burn than elliptical). Heading into the weekend, I'm going to make it my goal to really track everything…
  • Hi Everyone! Yesterday I went a bit over my calories, but today I'm oddly not very hungry at all so things are balancing out. I tried something new at the gym yesterday (I try to go at lunch time) and I did a set of goblet squats with 20lbs, which is pretty heavy for me. My legs are feeling it today! I'm watching my nephew…
  • Hi All! This thread caught my eye. I'm going to be a in a good friend's wedding in September, and I was just thinking to myself-- how fit can I get in the next four months? I think a loss of 5 lbs a month would be FANTASTIC. I'm having a hard time kick starting the weight from going down, but I've had good success with MFP…
  • I'm in! Looking forward to checking in with everyone!
  • Thanks for posting this. I had a similar recent experience, and I tried to stay taking the pill for the month, and I was CONSTANTLY miserable. Honestly, for me, it is just not worth it to be so depressed. I'd rather explore other options than to lose control of my emotions, and about a week after getting off the pill, I…
  • Thank you so much for sharing your pictures, you are an inspiration!!! Can I ask how tall you are? Also, how long did it take for you to get to your goal? Did you aim for a specific calorie goal daily, or just for eating clean daily? Thanks again for sharing, you look amazing and you should be so proud of yourself!!
  • Hi All! I'm in my 30's and having a hard time sticking on track! I recently moved cross country and with lots of emotional changes, could definitely benefit from connecting with some fabulous other 30 somethings who want to make this decade the best one yet. Feel free to add me! I'm aiming to lose 30lbs!
  • Wow, this is an AWESOME thread, thanks to all of you for posting. I'm 5'6" and although I lost 20lbs two years ago, I've gained it back... but I'm determined this is my year to get it off and keep it off. I'd like to be about 145-150lbs. So I've got about 25 lbs to lose! I'd love to add any of you gals as friends on MFP…
