That tea pot is really reasonably priced. Maybe I'll grab one of those

I thought I hadn't tried Republic of Tea before but thinking back I think I bought some grapefruit vanilla tea from them a while back and I disliked it. It tasted too much like iced tea even when hot and I'm not into iced tea. I am afraid to try them again :(

I bought my tea basket/strainer on sale for around $7 online. I have two so I could have one at work, lays right acrossed my tea mugs. You can also buy empty tea bags to fill up with loose leaf then you can just toss them out. They were cheap and large so you don't have to worry about them spilling out into your cup as the…

^^^^^ THIS! To add to that, with my job if ANYONE is offended for ANY reason over a picture they see as they walk by my desk as I'm online during lunch or break I will end up hauled into the HR office. It happens often to ppl where I work. Some ppl are actually offended and others are just trying to stir up crap. Either…

Never have tried that. I've heard it's a love or hate thing too. I'll get around to trying it one day I'm sure :)

If you do the loose leaf teas, I wouldn't use a tea ball. I wasn't getting a good brew with mine and I emailed the company I was buying loose leaf from and they said to use a basket strainer so the tea leaves can fully unravel. I bought 2 of them, one for home and one for work and problem solved. I've heard of Davids tea…

I think I should have posted this under the food category, this category moves so fast lol.

Oh I've never heard of Mightly leaf teas. I just bookmarked their site. Good to know :) Lucky you for winning $100 worth. That's a great prize :)

I started with mostly bigelows from the store. Moved on to lose leaf. I suggest staying away from Teavana unless you want to pay a fortune for chemically tasting junk with no tea in it :( I use Harney and sons primarily. You can also find teas that will fit your taste if you go to http://www.teaviews.com if you scroll down…

Yes this one is good for sure! One of my favorites as far as store bought boxed tea goes. I've not bought it in yrs since buying the premium teas online but I may need to revisit this one. THanks for the reminder :)

Bumping this up in hopes of hearing from more tea people :)

Yes yes, there ARE others like you out there :)

It's MUCH more than how the word should be defined. The word isn't all that important. Here's the deal, I was against gay marriage until the last yr or so. I am a Christian and was always told by other Christians that it was bad. I then realized it's not up to US to judge. If God doesn't like it, He will deal with it. We…

A friend at work does that.

cardamom baked goods! Stop it! I've never heard of that. YUM! Emmy, check out the site http://www.teaviews.com/ scroll down and on the right side of the page it gives different flavors. Click on the flavor you like and read the reviews. They are super detailed and you can pick great teas that way :)

This doesn't make any sense. Why would they say that?

You had me at cardamom! I need to be more adventurous. Next time I go to buy spices I'll stock up! I have a tea called Christmas cookie, it tastes like vanilla and has cardamom and camomile however you spell it in it and I break up the cardamom to let the seeds run free and it makes it taste that much better! I think I'm…

That's good you don't put anything in the tea. I always drank my tea black/plain until I decided to add some fat free milk into a pina colada black tea I had and it enhanced the flavor so much that I've not had plain tea in a year. I also heard sugar enhances the flavors but I tried rock sugar once and didn't care for it.…

^^^this for sure!

I've never heard of Ahmad, Em. I'm such a tea baby still. I've been doing primarily dessert teas for 2 yrs and haven't ventured away from that much. I love flavored! I think if you, me and Jason lived next to each other we'd be in tea heaven lol. I didn't know your mum lived in Japan. How awesome! oh and if I lived closer,…

Ncellis, the SoHo blend from Harney and sons is amazing! The chocolate and coconut go great together. I've also fell in love with Harney and sons Valentine blend which is a black tea that tastes like chocolate. I always put a splash of milk in mine which I find makes it taste a little creamier. One way to get started on…

I've found that I like the blacks better only because I think they remind me less of tea and more of coffee. I was raised in a coffee house and never had tea until I was an adult. Some of them taste too much like alfalfa hay to me (i had horses growing up and use to chew on alfalfa lol). I have had a couple great flavored…

I will check them out, thanks. I bought several teavana teas. I friend turned me on to them and I ended up loving one of them and tossing the rest of them in the trash. That's when I decided I was done.

I think it takes me about 90 days to stablize. I just recently had to have my meds lowered. For some reason all the sudden after 16 yrs of taking the same dose my body decided to change things up a bit lol. My fatigue never went away.
-
My levels are checked about 4x a yr usually. Sometimes more when I've had to have adjusted doses. I don't want to go into a list of things but thyroid disease has a slew of secondary problems that it causes and losing weight isn't always as easy as it may sound when there are other conditions occurring within the body. Not…

Adventurous. I've never made my own :)

Some that I've tried have tasted chemically too. I think it depends on the company. I'm not a huge fan of Capital teas as theirs are too chemicaly. I've been ok so far with Harney and sons. Element tea was ok but they went out of business or were going out. Teavana was the absolute worst for me! tasted so artificial and…

I've not yet bought a tea brewer. I am using just a regular electric tea kettle that boils at the same temp each time. I love peppermint teas. I bought a POUND of it and still have so much left. It's so light that a pound is a ton of peppermint! I give much of it away. So good when your tummy hurts. I have one, a Rooibos…

Other than a few wines, I don't know much about them
