Before the new year started, drinking attributed to a HUGE amount of my weight gain. My husband and I love craft beers, and we'd drink one a night and on the weekends, at least 3-4 a night. I went gluten-free (due to my autoimmune disease) in January, so I rid myself entirely of beer (this was not an easy task), and I now…

The reason I ask, is b/c if it's only 1200, it doesn't hurt to go over it a bit. Your metabolism might be starting to speed up. Although I wouldn't recommend eating your dinner leftovers, a light snack might tide you over.

What is your daily goal?

I'm from Indiana too!

I just looked online at their menu and saw this option Chicken Kow -tender slices of chicken with water chestnuts, mushrooms, peapods, and bokchoy. Thoughts?

Thank you so much for the advice. I'm going to look at the menu online and see if I can find some options. Hopefully I can find chicken with steamed veggies!

Love this ^^^^^ You are awesome!

It all depends if you like them or not. My husband and I both have a few tattoos. I feel like we are finally getting to a point where they are becoming more socially acceptable. I remember when I used to have to hide my tattoos to go to work and now it seems like people can show them more freely. It's your body, you should…

Depends on the day.

There's definately a difference! You look great! I can see a difference in your back, tummy, and legs. You might have lost inches and not weight. You look amazing!!!

It really depends on you. In the beginning when I first started going to the gym, all I ever did was go on the treadmill and wondered why I just didn't purchase a treadmill at home. But after a while, I wasn't losing weight and I needed to change up my workout routine and cardio routine. So now I love my gym membership…

Wow! 7lbs in a month and a half is awesome, you are losing a little over a pound a week, which is ideal weigh loss and a healthy weight loss. When I initially lost weight I kept my calories at 1300, and then as my metabolism sped up, I started eating some of my exercise calories.

I LOVE spinning and actually love it some much I will be teaching it in the fall. Spin is a great cardio workout, but it's also a great strength workout too. You have the ability of turning up the resistance high so that you work the muscles in your legs even harder. It's also one of those workouts where you burn calories…

It depends on the type of pedometer you have. If you have one where you input your height, weight, and age and also have a chest strap that measures your heart rate than this would be more accurate.

My last workout I did, I was sore for a couple days. The best thing to do is eat or drink something high in protein after you workout to repair your muscles and drink a glass of water. The next day take a walk outside or on the treadmill, it's a great way to loosen your muscles after in intense workout.

I don't want to be negative, but the Cabbage soup diet is a crash diet. Will you lose weight? Sure you will, but once you get off the diet, you are likely to gain the weight back. This kind of diet is not sustainable and isn't providing you with the proper nutrients your body needs. I truly believe eating healthier foods,…

I like the chocolate whey protein shakes, the brand is Precision I get it from Vitamin World. I mix it with a cup of milk and add banana and peanut butter, it tastes delicious!!!

I love my heart rate monitor too, it's definately a good investment if you can afford to purchase one. I find that my watch reads about 40-50 calories less than what the machine says, which isn't too far off. I think it's a good investment, my husband purchsed it for me as a gift when I reached the halfway point to my goal…

Eat a well balanced dinner and if you still feel hungry after that than grab a light snack. The 100 cal snacks help me if I get a craving for something sweet or I cut up some carrots or peppers for a crunchy snack. There's nothing wrong with "snacking" as long as you do it in moderation and try to find "healthier"…

Yes, it displays the calories burnt for you. As the previous post recommended, definately get one with a chest strap, the chest strap reads your heart rate thus gives you a more accurate reading of caloires burned. Also, if you get a watch make sure to enter in your information (i.e. height, weight and age) as this will…

I've searched everywhere for a good sports bra, and the best place I found them was Old Navy, I love their sports bras.

My food diary is public. I don't fib on it cause then I would only be lying to myself and the whole point of the food journal is to keep yourself in check. I need to become more diligant in entering my food, sometimes I skip a day of logging my food in, but it's usually because I might be eating the same stuff the next day…

I do not recommend taking diet pills, most of these pills can effect your heart due to all the stimulants, I know we'd all love a quick and easy solution to losing weight but there's a price to pay when you follow crash diets or use diet pills, you compromise your health and what happens when you stop? You tend to gain the…

LOL!!!! I know, initially the site looks a little geared towards guys, do to how she dresses, but she is a trainer and she is BUILT, she know's her stuff for sure, just have to look past the tight, skimpy outfits and listen to her advice, her workouts are TOUGHT!!!!!

Good idea, I heard that was tough!
