  • The point I was trying to make was this. If you read her first post closely - she acknowledges that she doesn't want to put her family through her cancelling it just because she feels bad about her weight. She's already aware of it. You all seem to be harping on that fact when the real issue at hand was how does she…
  • I don't agree with all of the people that are just telling you to suck it up. That defeats the purpose. Your weight IS affecting people around you - but pointing that out and just telling you to fix it and suck it up is not going to help you, mentally. People like that just need to stop giving their opinion. Losing weight…
  • I agree - make sure your deficit is not unrealistic. I think before, I tried to stick to 1200 calories, but this time around, I'm at 1500. Losing weight the slow way, though it takes longer, will be easier to maintain because your body is used to the small changes and getting to the weight will take longer, making the…
  • I feel/felt the same way that you did. Truth be told, what happened for me was, I lost 10-20 pounds, felt great about it, then stopped and gained it all back (when I really have about 80-90 pounds to lose). What happened for me was this mindset that I didn't think I could do what I needed to do long-term. In my mind, the…
  • I think everyone that struggles with weight loss has gone through this. Like other people on this thread mentioned, you just have to think about it in terms of calories that you need to eat versus how many you burn in a day. Right now, I'm not exercising regularly, but I'm sticking to my calorie intake and I'm still losing…
  • I'm 31 also, and probably have a good 90 pounds to lose to get back to my college weight (when I feel like I was the healthiest). I'm in a place where I DON'T have a lot of support and food surrounds me. I know I need to change and my body doesn't feel healthy at all. I know the motivation needs to start with me - but I…
  • I have had several different gym memberships in the past 5 years and all I have to say is I was not consistent and I lost a LOT of money. I'm about 60 pounds overweight right now and on my way down. The biggest 2 reasons for my not going to the gym was insecurity and lack of time. I work almost 60 hours a week and getting…
  • Someone else might have already answered you. But the 9-day cleanse doesn't mean you don't eat for 9 days straight. The program is built so that you have 4 cleanse days total (This means that you have four cleanse shakes (160 calories total). Then you are supposed to take their Isagenix snacks (6 of them is 90 calories) to…
  • I've been using Isagenix for almost a month straight now and the health benefits are amazing. I have probably close to 70 more pounds to lose, but already, I see a major improvement in my moods, and overall energy. The 9-cleanse is actually only $150 if you get it as an associate. If you are just buying through a…
  • I am on day 9 and have lost 11.6 pounds. I just signed up to be a distributor because I can TOTALLY see myself doing this long-term and I feel so much better! Erin
  • I would recommend using the tasting as a cheat meal. Obviously - don't eat everything (portion-wise) that they give you, but maybe half of what you would normally eat. Then, if you are still feeling guilty, just make sure you work twice as hard in the gym with your cardio output.
  • right now, I'm just trying to get into a routine of getting to the gym - I know that to lose what I want - 40-60 pounds in 103 days, I will have to KICK my butt - but I know that if I kill myself at the beginning, I probably won't stick with it. So, I'm trying to ease my way into a routine. Right now, I have zumba on…
  • probably all of the details at the end drive me insane. There's just so many little things to do - and I feel like I'm running out of time, LET ALONE continuing to lose weight. But my fiance has been sweet and has asked to help out! Thank GOD!
  • My fiance and I decided to use the august rush symphony since we are both musicians and love that movie. I will be walking down the aisle to it. :) As far as other music - haven't decided much else - THAT'S next on my list of things to do. Sigh - I wish I didn't have to do all of this planning - it stresses me out!
  • Here's where I'm at: Start weight : 259 Currect weight : 255 Goal weight :195 Wedding : July 1st, 2012 Bridal Photoshoot: April 15th, 2012 Final Fitting: May 30th, 2012 Hoping to lose 60 pounds, but would be happy with 40-50 pounds lost. I know this is a lot to lose in 103 days - but I am willing to do anything and…
  • wedding is on July 1st, 2012. Any support would be highly appreciated. Hoping to lose 40-50 pounds in 103 days (which is the countdown to my wedding). Any suggestions would be great!
  • My name is Erin Pickering. My fiance is Cesar Montecristo. We've been together 3 years and 3 months and are getting married in a little less than four months. I really want to drop 40-50 pounds by the wedding and think I can do it - but I have to be hardcore and have the eye of the tiger :)
  • My goal is to drop 40-50 pounds in 103 days (my wedding is July 1st, 2012). I've put it off for far too long and I can't let the stress get me down or make me procrastinate any longer.
