ooh yum for chips :) I think if I'm struggling with cravings / wanting to pig out etc, I may post a status about t, and nice to think there could be others who 'get it' on there. and happy to similar for others and support them on their way :)

Just accepted, and I can really identify with what you said in your message, I'm very similar... really hoping that having like minded people on here as friends might help :)

I can definitely relate. I know many responses are more about the physical side of it, rather than the psychological, but my big binge eating problem is about emotions rather than food. I'm trying to combat this at the moment, and this morning I sat down and wrote a letter to myself that I've to read when I want to binge.…

Thanks, but I don't want to maintain..... hence asking for advice... and see no reason not to aim to continue with what I have been doing is working well and makes me feel good.
-
Oooh yes, that could work.. thank you :)
-
Thanks. I'd not heard of quest bars before. Will google them now :)
-
That's really useful thank you :) Travelling for work is tougher than I thought it would be. I'm self employed so at least I have some flexiblity over stuff, but still... not a big fan of nuts at all, but will stock up on fruit for travelling, and there's some other healthy little things I can too... I actually love the…

I definitely agree that planning is a big part of it. I will definitely do my best to enjoy myself on all of the trips... MFP is a lifestyle change for me, not a diet, so I should still enjoy myself as I still would ;) The point about eating in moderation is really important, as I really can't be asking my family to make…

Thanks :) I don't want to maintain though, I want to continue losing 1 - 2 lbs a week... Majorca is a trip to be enjoyed... the rest are not for pleasure... so I'm not of the thinking that I should stop my weight loss just because I am in a different location... and also I will enjoy Majorca even more if regardless of…

I'm quite active on here, and have added you. Anyone else is welcome to add me also.

Cool, sounds reasonable. So I went back into your diary, went into the calendar thing, picked a date two months ago, no logging... scrolled back several days from it, no logging. Back to the calendar, picked a date 3 months ago, no logging. So scrolled to several dates either side of it. No logging. So at this point, given…

you're never alone on MFP :)
-
when you say you've been 'at this for nine months'... I just wanted to ask what is it that you've been at for nine months? Also, I had a quick look at your diary to see if I could help, but the first thing that I noticed was that you don't seem to log...?

Added you, I'm quite active :) And anyone else is welcome to add me also.

I try to go to places that have calories on menu.... but not always possible, so at those times, I search the database for that thing, and find the nearest equivalant from another restaurant... if I see that a few restaurants have the same meal, unless I think I had a very small portion, I choose the restaurant listing…

Send you a request - I love MFP and am quite interactive.... Well, most of the time - I'm self employed too, so it depends on how much I'm working, but am on each day... Anyone else can feel free to add me too :)

I LOVE crispy mini weetabix with chocolate chips... decent amount of fibre, not sure how calories compare to other cereals (possibly slightly higher), but they are delicious... and keep me full for quite a while. Never mind best cereal ever.... possibly best food ever in my opinion! :D
-
Is it not the case that MFP exercise calories are generally more accurate, because they're based on your measurements?
-
Definitely agree with that. When I say i'm healthy eating I've had a few ask me what diet I'M doing... but I'm not doing a diet, I'm just eating healthily.
-
Iv'e honestly no idea :)
-
Liking the sound of this :) Maybe, also, your body gets used to having less food... and when I was constantly living on junk my body thought it needed that food, hence cravings...
-
Am 30 this year so I definitely say a big YAY to that :)
-
Cheers. Have added you both :)
-
Good luck Jane :) I'm also back again after doing this on and off in the past. Wishing you lots of success with it :D
-
Yeah, absolutely hilarious isn't it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
thanks for the replies. not gonna freak out about it, but definitely some good replies there, and puts things in prespective. thanks :)
-
Thanks. I think you are right! And see I'm completely addicted to the weetabix mini chocolate chips. I'm nearly 28 and have never ever eaten breakfast, yet I am finding myself managing to ear these each morning, and actually craving them later in the day, (so I'm figuring it is much better to crave mini weetabix than to…

To heatherrose86 thank you - you made a very good point, re not needing to worry about sugar unless you have health problems (diabetes) To uponthisrock - thank you for the laugh! :) To the sarcastic ones, please just grow up! Cheers! x

Not paranoid, just trying to be healthy and frustrated by how much sugar is in fruit, that is all.

Have added you both. Happy for anyone to add me back. Looking to lose about 2.5 stone, but will be just happy to be in healthy BMI range :)
