I used to clean houses for a living, and didn't have an HRM at the time, but after 8 hours of cleaning I was FAMISHED. When I got a desk job, I gained about 20 lbs (little to no change in diet) so I have to believe all that housecleaning burned some good calories. Now my rule of thumb is that if I'm sweating and my feet…

A medium to large dog is the best - creeps will generally choose to mess with someone who doesn't have a canine companion. Plus a dog is great for motivation!

I use it as a replacement for mayo - for example egg salad with hummus instead of mayo, taco salad dressing with hummus/salsa dressing. Much more filling than mayo!

This is a question that has driven me nuts! Thanks for the great info. I'm also curious about how much oil to account for when eating fried food. For instance, if I pan-fry breaded eggplant in 1/4 cup of oil, how much of the oil "sticks" after I've removed the eggplant from the oil and blotted any excess?

I enjoy weight training, but I'm always concerned that my form isn't good enough for really heavy lifting. I've hurt myself numerous time due to poor form (learning hurts...) and more weight seems like more injury risk, if that makes sense. But I'm working on form so I can up the weight :)

Such a beautiful woman, but she looks sedated! I gotta feel a bit bad for Kate - she has to be polite about the results

Eat foods that are high in fiber or at least try to meet/exceed your fiber macro. Oatmeal, fruit (berries in particular), high-fiber pasta (Ronzoni Smart Taste is yummy), brown rice, high fiber bread, etc... Today 1/2 cup oatmeal with 1 cup blueberries and a tablespoon of brown sugar kept me satisfied from 9 AM until 2 PM.

I had the arm implant (Nexplanon) put in last August so I've only had it for 4ish months, but so far so good. The pill (even low dose) made me nauseous every single morning so my gyno convinced me to try this or an IUD. I decided against the IUD as I haven't had children and am a wuss about pain =P Pros of the arm implant:…

I'm obsessed with Trilogy Rosehip Oil - the stuff is amazing at healing facial scars and moisturizes without being greasy. Also a sucker for anything Laura Mercier!

I can sympathize with that frustrated/down/stuck feeling - your victory made my day! Thanks for the inspiration
