I hear ya on cutting out sugar. I'm trying to cut added sugar for the month of May. So far, so good - I know there's still so much of May to go, but 3 days is a win in itself! lol I also know what you mean about over-estimating calories. MFP is a reality check!

The one pic is being cut off though. So you might want to repost it as 3 separate pictures instead of all side by side.

Here you go! The IMG had to be lower case.

Excellent! Your starting weight is about the same as mine was. So thank you for sharing your progress. I like to see pics that I can relate to.
-
Excellent! Keep going, you can do this!

There is absolutely a difference! Great job!

I'm afraid of ice or anything frozen. It may not be a fear, but it's like a nails on the chalkboard sort of thing. It makes me freak out. So I avoid it. Like when someone bites a Mr. Freeze or their ice cream. My whole body breaks out in goosebumps and I have to leave the room. I can't even think about it.

I make smoothies with frozen berries, vanilla soy milk, low cal/sugar/fat yogurt (like silouette) and unsweetened cocoa powder. They are delicious and about 116 calories. Had one last night because I was craving something sweet after dinner and had lots of room left in my daily calories. It tasted like chocolate ice cream.

I'm 5'1 or 5'2, not really sure. Haven't had my height measured in a while, lol. This was last year. Weighed 163lbs and went down to 145lbs. I'm back up to 153lbs now and trying to get my *kitten* together again.
-
Well I'm a bit shorter than 5'5. I'm 5'1 or 5'2, but I'm about that weight range...and what's a couple inches right? (big deal in width, not in height!) Last spring I was 163lbs. I went down to 145lbs throughout last summer. I'm back up to about 153 and working on getting my *kitten* together again. It's been a lazy summer…

I'm exactly the same...way worse since being a mom. I also know I'm being ridiculous and can't help it. My boyfriend says I'm holding my son back because of my fears. Like, wanting him to just go for a walk with me instead of riding his bike because walking is safer. I don't stop him from going on his bike, I just give the…

It totally makes sense. I know what you mean. I'm not always at the point where my mind is going in different directions, but it has happened when there's a lot going on and I'm trying to focus on one thing or answer a question or make a decisions. I feel like I am going to explode.

Forgot to hit quote: This reply is to DarkNebula84 I am very much the same when my son is not with me. If he goes to my parents' house for example, I'm constantly going over scenarios in my mind like if my Dad takes my son on his motorcycle, or my son on his 4 wheeler, or them cutting down trees in the bush, or having a…

I've started it a couple times and then got off track, but both times it has kick started my weight loss and put me on the right track for changing my eating habits. I love how the book is easy to read, easy to understand and there's some humor and education in there. Will be starting this again as soon as I find my book…

Thanks for sharing. I'm happy to hear that you have a great man and your life has turned around.

You all look fabulous!

Good choice. I'm proud of you. Sometimes in life, the people around us aren't moving forward at the same speed as us, so you have to leave them behind. Just keep moving forward, walk tall and be happy.

I just bought one last night for the first time. I bought strawberry/watermelon. I tried some last night. I put a drop in club soda (I used to be a Pepsi junkie and crave the fizz) It was really good, but I can't have more than one drop because anything with aspartame/sucralose gives me migraines.

I often go over mine too. But like it was just suggested above, I try to pay attention to where the sugar is coming from. If it comes from fruit, I don't panic too much.

Excellent motivator!!

Thanks ladies. Added/accepted everyone. The support is what helps me the most.

This time last year I lost 15lbs (was half way to my goal of losing 30lbs) and I was feeling fabulous. Didn't think I'd ever go back to eating junk. But I did...last summer. I went right back to eating nothing but junk. I gained back the 15lbs pounds plus a couple more. Now I'm back on the wagon. And still very…

It might be the type of jeans that they are. Are they stretchy? And maybe can work for different sizes? I have a pair of jeans that I could wear when I was 130 and now at 157 they are the only jeans that fit, but seem to work no matter what I wear. I suggest you go shopping for new jeans. I'm thinking in your mind you…

My 1994 Mazda MX6. Bought it in 2005 and taught myself to drive it (1st manual transmission car) Swapped in another motor in 2006. And did a few other modifications (suspension, brakes, ECU, and other engine stuff, etc.) But in 2010 there were over 400,000 kms on the body and things started to go on it. Was constantly…
