  • Tosca Reno is the author of the Eat Clean Diet...she has a lot of books out about it. Also, you can prob get a lot of info about it on the forums on the Bodybuilding.com site. I've been doing it for about a year and have noticed substantial changes...I just feel better all around, have more energy, etc etc. Good luck!
  • It's called eating clean and Tosca Reno is the queen. Check our her website www.eatcleandiet.com, there is a section called The Kitchen Table where people share food diaries and recipes. Great tool for those wanting to eat clean! Best decision I ever made!!!

  • I'd suggest going to the Eat Clean Diet (Tosca Reno, author) website and looking at their Kitchen Table community. People post the meal plans all the time. I get ideas very often from there! http://eatcleandiet.com/the_kitchen_table/
  • I'm addicted too....it's AWESOME!!!! Keep up the good work, your story is inspiring! :)
  • That is definitely a great CLEAN breakfast! I start everyday w oats and egg whites. It rocks!
  • until i find out exactly what to do, i've been sticking to my starting cals on most days and then eating a few hundred over on the days i go crazy w the cardio!
  • i would like to know more about this too. I'm always confused....some days I burn over 2,000 cals of cardio. There's no way i can eat that back!
  • Thank you for the info! I'm definitely going to get the BCAA. I can sip on them while I do cardio machines, but def can't while in a cardio class. I take spin and zumba and also teach zumba. Any input on a good thermo fat burner? My brother is pretty into weight training but won't go near a fat burner so he couldn't…
  • Polar for sure! I've had the same one for over 2 years and use it almost everyday! Works great! LOVE IT
  • OXYGEN is the absolute BEST women's fitness magazine around! It is very inspiring and everything is based around eating clean and being fit and healthy. LOVE IT! It is true that you realize the rest of the mags are filled with fluff after reading an issue of Oxygen.
  • I added zumba to my exercises as well and I manually update the calories burned based on my heart rate monitor. I have found it is more accurate than what MFP says...for me anyway.
  • I felt the same way during and after my first spin class. It definitely gets better! Wait for the soreness to subside and go again..it def gets easier (or at least more bearable) even starting at just the 2nd class! :)
  • I love love LOVE zumba too!! I take it as often as I can at my gym and I also lead a class for fun at work on our lunch hour! It is the best cardio class!
  • Hey girl, I will be 30 next September too and have a similar goal! Good luck! :)
  • Any cardio is going to "work" as long as it is continuous and keeps your heart rate up in the 130-150 range for at least 30 mins. I take Zumba 4-5x/week and I love it. You get a guaranteed 55-60 min cardio workout and it is fun b/c it incorporates a lot of different dance-style moves and the hour seems to just fly…
  • I have a Polar F6 and i don't leave home w/o it! It's my bff!! The only thing is I wish it had a pedometer on it, but other than that it ROCKS!
  • Good for you, girl! I'm right there with you. I haven't had a drink in 2 weeks. It probably seems like a small feat to most people, but for people like us whose social lives sort of revolve around booze it is definitely a big thing to conquer! My friends can't quite grasp the fact that I'm not partaking in the pitchers of…
