LOVE this post because it is SO true and this post says a lot more than what you think! First of all, parents SO often like to use our kids as a reason for us not to workout. They MUST be monitored at ALL times. This was not the case when I was growing up and do not see why it is the case now. Now, dont get me wrong..if…

Seven inches, almost eight, lost doing Level 1 over a 20 day period for 10 days. For reference, I am 5'5" and about 167 lbs.

Hey ladies. I am only doing the Shred on Sun, Tues, and Thurs with a run of no less than 3 miles on Mon, Wed and Fri so I JUST finished up Level 1 on Sunday and started Level 2 on yesterday!!! So, is it just me or is Level 1 SOOOOO much easier than Level 2. I almost died yesterday...I mean LITERALLY died! I could not catch…

I think that it all depends on what you want to look like. For example, I am 5'5" and 166 lbs and wear a solid size 10 and some 8's. I am solid with extra weight in my belly. My goal weight is 155 but unless I loose it all in my belly area, I may get too thin for my tastes...but who knows! So, to answer your question, I…

Thanks everyone for the responses! I will try and find some caliphers on Amazon. My husband is a health nut so we probably have some lying around the house somewhere. Thanks!

Cool! I just did Day 3 of Level 1 (every other day) and I am starting to see some definition in my arms. Now some of this may be from my strength training efforts starting back at the beginning of may, but I am excited to see what my measurements will look like tomorrow!!!

For those of you that cannot make it through the first workout...stick with it...you will get through it someday soon...I PROMISE! Just wondering what size weights everyone is using? I am using 5 pounders and my arms are taking a beating on Level I!!!!!
-
Did Level 1 and my Day 2 today. I am doing it every other day and filling in the off days with long runs. I am also doing a short run on the days that I do the workout...it makes my sore legs feel SOOO much better!

I started today.....let's be buddies along with my twin sister Sakopeas! It was beast!!! I have run a half marathon and consider myself pretty active but it kicked my *kitten*!!!

ABSOULTELY....I measure everything that I eat when I am home. A lot of packages will state that a serving is 1/4cup but I always measure it out in grams! It is worth the investment.

I did not start at that weight but I wanted to say that this is EXCELLENT advice right here!!!! I agree that most people cannot run a 5K in 30 minutes after finishing the program....it has been 2 years for me and I still cannot do that! Good luck and I think that you can do it!!!

No pictures here but I can also attest to the fact that running helps TREMENDOUSLY with toning the lower body. I am now attempting to add strength training to my exercise circuit in hopes of loosing more inches and toning up! Good luck and if you are looking for a starting point, C25k WORKS!!!! And works WELL!!!!
-
Your post brought tears to my eyes!!! You look AMAZING and you did an AWESOME job!!! And like I say about my almost two year running history...the only records to break, are my own! PROUD OF YOU!!!
-
Thanks ladies for the responses!!! A piece of me believes that I have hit a plateau and for that reason I have plans to see a nutritionist soon! I am hoping that, while I am staying below my calorie range, I am not eating the right foods. I have the exercise piece down...it is just the "right" foods that I think I am…

Bumping for other responses. Thanks!

I run about three days a week and anywhere from 2 to 5 miles and my "gadget" and MFP are normally within 20 to 30 calories of one another. To balance it out, I never track calories burned during my cool down walks!
