This is Leo. He is 7 years old and he's been part of the family for 4 months. He is an Italian Greyhound who was found on the streets somewhere in Texas. We just had our first snowfall of the season and he doesn't like it even though we bundle him up in three layers. He's a sweetie.

Yes. It's OK to eat "bad" food in moderation. I eat candy everyday. I just make sure to track it in my diary and keep within my goal calories. Go for it.

Aquasize. It's a great cardio workout that doesn't wreck your knees. For beginners, there is nothing better.

I can touch my toes no problem. I can even touch my head to my knees. But crunches. No way. I can't even do 20, let alone 100. LOL. Good for you, keep up the good work. One thing I can do now which I couldn't do 30 days ago is a yoga position where I sit in a full lotus and then hold myself up off the ground using my hands.

Try cutting up acorn squash into chunks (leaving the rind on, but scooping the seeds out) and tossing it with 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil. Roast in the oven at 325 for 1 hour or until tender. So delicious, you don't need any other seasonings, including salt.

I usually drink a protein shake in the morning made from frozen blueberries, whey powder and coconut water. It fills me up and I don't eat a big breakfast. I think that all shakes have the same thing in common, they contain less calories than a full meal. If drinking a shake helps you lose weight then go for it. But…

Aquasize. especially deep water aquasize. You get a full cardio workout without gravity. Big guys (and gals) can experience a lot of hip and knee problems carrying that extra weight around. Usually not. My husband is a light sleeper and Lucia (an adorable Italian Greyhound - check out my ticker) has sharp nails. But occasionally he lets her sleep with us, like if I have been away on a business trip for a few days. I sometimes miss her more than I miss him LOL.
