  • Good job. You look wonderful!!!
  • Thanks for the link to this thread, Camila! I've been gone too long. I got on the scale today. I knew I had gained because my clothes are so gd tight but there is something about seeing that increased number on a scale when you weigh yourself after some time. haha! Good luck to all on your weight loss goals.
  • Hi twin! I'm 5'2". My gw is 110 :)
  • I'm 5'2" and my gw is 110 lbs (in the morning naked)
  • Impressive!
  • I watched an ep of Oprah called the 7 day vegan challenge. I would have liked to start this past Monday but I have milk and yougurt in my fridge that I didn't want to waste. So, since Monday the only animal products I have been consuming has been the milk and yogurt that's already in my fridge. I should finish up the milk…
  • Of course it's "ok" as long as it's ok with YOU. I have one of the worse cases of stretch marks that I have ever seen. They are something that I prefer to keep covered. I think stretch marks are ugly ugly ugly. I have a friend who thinks otherwise. People are self conscious about different things, I guess.
  • I just bought a kitchen scale. I LOVE IT. However, it's not pocket size and not cheap. Do you have one you already use at home? Do you want a small one for travel?
  • Damn girl. That sucks. Sorry, I have no tips.
  • Envious of you taller ladies. Tallness is so very regal. I don't know my measurements but my thighs are where I store the most fat and it's the last place where I lose, too.
  • Hello! I'm 5' 2.5" My goal weight is 110 lbs. I reached 107 lbs by the end of last summer (2011) by jogging a lot. I'm a teacher and I took last summer off which gave me all the time in the world to just go jog whenever. The pounds melted away. I felt great! I put on almost 20 pounds since oct 2011 because I started eating…
  • I'm honest about it. I usually reply: "I know but I like to be thin" :)
  • I'm here lacking motivation, as well. If you figure out a solution please pass it on. haha! If only it were that simple, right???
  • Good thing some people have a positive attitude. I, however, think they are ghastly to look at :( Btw, awwastbrook, is that you in your avatar pic? If so, your back looks gorgeous!
  • My son's chemistry teacher is on a diet. He has lost over 20 pounds this semester. It's very very noticeable. My son told me he has become very mean in class lately. I figured it's his diet. My son agrees.
  • Oh my. You stooped WAY lower to what the guy said. That's a horrible thing to say to anyone.
  • My mother who had always been extremely obese (250 at her lowest - 302 at her heaviest) at 4'11!! was very quick to point out anytime I gained weight. Even if I went from 110 to 117 at 5'2" she could see and was very rude about it: "Is that a belly I see on you?" or "Your *kitten* is getting fat." I'm smaller than almost…
  • Kerreck, me too. Most of the women on my mother's side of the family are very overweight. My own mother was always over 250 pounds at 5' ! I remember at one point when I was in elem school she hit 302 pounds. I know because she wrote it on the back of a photo of herself at that weight. I think all but ONE first cousin on…
  • Ok, so I blew the first day of May. I went to Texas de Brazil for dinner. That was my last splurge. Today is day one for me. I GOT to get this weight off! 1. Work out one hour 5x/week, even if it's just a one hour WALK. 2. Eat MORE of the healthier, low calorie foods like vegetables. 3. Eat no more than 1200 calories per…
  • I completely agree with your post! I, too, notice it's usually a fat person who tells me: YOU DON'T NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT? WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT? Or when I decline sweets: Oh, YOU can afford to eat that. I remember the first time I decided to say something back about that comment. It was a staff development and…
