if it was accurate I'd be at my goal weight by now :( The disappointment can go both ways I guess.

you can actually find all the workouts on youtube I think.

My son stopped napping when he turned 2... he never had tantrums about it though (or about anything else for that matter) he thankfully skipped that developmental phase, lol. He has plenty of quiet time through out the day though, and if he falls asleep before 3 pm I let him snooze for a half hour or so... but that RARELY…

I'm on level 3 (just did day one) and it gets easier by day 4 or 5 I'd say. But then the difficulty starts all over again when you up to the next level of course. So far I've lost 11 inches (3 of which were from my belly, yay!) I actually started seeing inches come off by day 5. Weight didn't come off until the end of…

can I just say that I'm so relieved that no one has used the word "panties" yet. I HATE that word. That being said, I'm also looking forward to having less bum to cover eventually :)

cucumber salad. I make this one without the sugar. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/adriennes-cucumber-salad/

there's nothing wrong with a deliberate, calculated treat now and then. If you cut out a food completely it will just make you crazy and lead to you hiding in the coat closet binging. I speak from experience, lol.

Perhaps if you feel that way you should avoid coming to the "Motivation and Support" section of the forum? Just a thought.

I've heard that about the Shred as well. The super slow loss was going on before I started it though. I do want to add more cardio soon... when the weather is less steamy here.

See, that's the thing. Logically I know that inches are more important, but I'm looking forward to lbs lost. Can't help it. It's engrained in me. I want a healthy BMI. I usually only weigh myself once a week and measure less often than that. I know it's coming off and that I'm replacing it with muscle... which is awesome.…

Ha ha ha... it's ok, I was thinking this ^^ too!

I've only lost 3 lbs in 2 months.... but I've lost over 10 inches, so I'm all good. Some people just lose slower. No biggie, it will happen!

I like them with Kashi 7 grain crackers. great post work out snack :)

LOL strike my last question. Just saw this post from you :) I'm thinking of starting insanity. I'm currently doing 30 DS. I'm around 170 right now... but I don't look nearly as good as you do, LOL. I'll just tell myself that you must be taller than me ;) Yeah, that's it.

Wow you look great! Mind if I ask, what was your start weight and current weight?

There are so many reasons, 1) I have a 3 yr old so unless I count sandbox time as cardio the only other thing I could achieve outside is walking. And then I couldn't go very far or very fast with him. 2) Summers where are live have crazy humidity, Often enough we have air quality warnings. 3) I have allergies. Pollens and…

Nice! I have some favorites that I plan on bringing to a tailor once I hit my goal, but other than those everything else is going to goodwill. My old wardrobe wont match the "new me" at all, lol. In the mean time, I had to buy a belt ;)

each time you say "no thanks" have a little party in your head. it's ok to treat yourself for a special occasion, but only when it's worth it to you. I had make a vow with myself not to eat to please people. My family and inlaws are all big on food, so it can be difficult when they take you not eating a second portion of…

any suggestions?

I usually do cucumber slices in place of chips. For dessert how about berries? you could put them over yogurt if that's not too much carbs.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Colace.... When I was pregnant and taking Iron my dr told me to try it and it really helped.

PS I also wouldn't move up to level 2 until you can complete level 1 without stopping. Even if it takes longer than 10 days. Level 2 feels easy when it starts. I kept thinking "wow, what's all the fuss about?" Then the plank exercises started. Even modified I had to stop a few times. Just do as much as you can and make…

I just started level 2 today. While I'm tire right after the work out I feel fine by a half hour later after a good shower. Are you eating back your workout calories? Maybe you're tired because you're not getting enough fuel to make up for the work out. Water is also key to reaping the benefits of your work out.

Thanks! I will definitely be changing it up once I'm done with the Shred. Although if I continue getting good results I'll probably do it again in a few months :)
-
True. I did sweat more than I ever did at level 1 so I must have been doing something right. I will just keep truckin' ...
-
oh man.... I hope to be done and working just to maintain by that point. Although at the slow rate I'm going who knows :P

baked fish with steamed or grilled veggies or a salad with grilled chicken (my trick is to use salsa instead of dressing.) usually water or iced tea (unsweetened) to drink.

I am measuring too and I have lost inches since I started 30 DS, but no lbs. I know inches matter more, but when you're trying to reach a healthy BMI the # on the scale seems daunting.

I'd have a heart to heart with your mother. Tell her that you are aware of her concerns and understand why she is worried about you dieting, but explain why it's important to you to get healthy the right way. Keep her in the loop and she probably wont feel as suspicious. Mom's just want what's best for their kids.
