Am I the only one?...
Am I the only one who gets a bit irritated at that "in 5 weeks you'd weigh XXX" pop up? Because even though I've been super consistant and working hard, that estimated loss is way off :P I knda hate that feature, wish I could turn it off. At first it was motivating.... now that 5 weeks has come and gone, not so much.

Favorite Cross Trainers?
Mama needs a new pair of shoes. Not sure what to get. I want some that are light weight and versatile. I love my New Balance all terrain shoes that I have, but they're 5 years old (yikes) and definitely need to go. I don't run. I'm looking for more of a circuit training, walking, gym type of shoe. What are your favorites?

Bad workout, do you count it?
So long story short, I just started level 2 of Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred after 10 days at level 1. I didn't exactly rock the work out. I had to stop several times. So I don't feel like it counts. I don't have a HRM so I can't just add calories because I don't know how many I burned. What are your thoughts?

Trying to stay positive....
Sigh. I've been logging all of my calories daily, pretty much always just under the amount. I measure my food. I get a bit confused with "Waist" measurements. I read that you should measure across your bellybutton, but I have a super high waist (probably a good 4 inches above my navel) so where do I measure from?

how do you work out when it's too hot to move?
We are having a heat wave this week in New England (90+ degrees with 70% Humidity) and it's much too hot to go walking outside or even to really exercise inside. I don't have access to a pool or a gym... So any suggestions on burning some calories on a super hot day?
