Bad workout, do you count it?

So long story short, I just started level 2 of Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred after 10 days at level 1. I didn't exactly rock the work out. I had to stop several times. So I don't feel like it counts. I don't have a HRM so I can't just add calories because I don't know how many I burned.
What are your thoughts?

Maybe add 1/2 of what you normally would? I have a HRM, so it makes my life easy.0

If it was hard and you tried, then why wouldn't it count? if a workout is easy then it is not really a workout, which is why they make more advanced levels, before you know it level 2 will be too easy as well ;-)0

True. I did sweat more than I ever did at level 1 so I must have been doing something right. I will just keep truckin' ...0

yep just keep at it and once it starts to become easy go to level 3... i do not do workouts at home but I have to change my gym routine about every 2 months to keep pushing myself. You do not want to let you muscles become to accustom to the same workouts over and over.0

I would - even a bad workout burns calories. I'd maybe log 1/3rd less than you usually do0

Thanks! I will definitely be changing it up once I'm done with the Shred. Although if I continue getting good results I'll probably do it again in a few months0

I just finished Day 4 of Level 2 and I agree, it is intense. I have to drop to my knees while doing some of the plank positions, and I usually can't finish the last 4 or 5 squats, but I am still sweating my *kitten* off! I don't have a HRM either (will hopefully be getting one for my birthday in a few weeks), but I definitely count it all!0 -
I just restarted 30DS last night after not working out for probably 6 weeks. I definitely didn't perform as well as I did when I was doing it before, and I had to take more breaks than I used to. My HRM still calculated my burn at 333 calories, which is very close to what it was 2 months ago. I also had to deviate from her cardio routine and just do what I could to keep my heart rate up. If you are having to take breaks, it's because you're working hard and your body is being challenged, so for that I say, "Cheers!" Keep up the good work :flowerforyou:0
