The boxing is really fun. Don't get too into it, you might punch the TV  . I had to keep backing my hubby away from the TV. He was getting so mad that the game did not respond as fast as he did. I told him he was not allowed to use it when i was not there to supervise. :noway: I think it is a great workout for your…

Lovechattys, Not sure if anyone told you yet, but the last to join has to start the challenge for the month. So figure out what it should be and get it posted:laugh: . Just remember, there are a lot of us old seniors that use the Wii and we don't have a lot of stamina. Anyway. Welcome aboard. Maybe you and Tyrantduck can…

The group could be very active if people will just talk to each other. I started a couple monthly challenges ( and failed both times :(). The April challenge that was put out seems too difficult for most. For me, just getting over a sprained ankle, running is out of the question. Besides, at my age, my knees give me fits…

still getting over a badly sprained ankle from a few weeks back. No way i can run yet. i'd have a hard time doing the free step for 10 minutes a day right now. maybe next month. For now, i will just have to continue with my strength training. Anything that doesn't involve too much on one foot.

Hi Lori. keep up the good work on the Wii. Working out (or playing as it is called on the wii) with someone else is way more fun than trying it alone. Not sure what games you have, but if you two controllers and two numchuks, the two person boxing game is a Great workout. Just make sure you stand far enough apart. Anyway,…

just so i am clear, the March challenge is to actually Wii RUN for 15 hours? So since i am starting on the 15th, that would only leave me with a challenge of 7.5 hours? Oh well, going to give it a try. I will add the running onto my strength training.
-
please feel free to add a March challenge. How do you do the free run? just by holding the remote in your hand and running in place?

I only hooked my Wii Fit up last month but i have fallen in Love with it. I started with the Yoga stretches, then do a couple of the strength exercises and finish it off with a couple of the aerobics games. And if I am still in the mood to play, i do some of the balance games. Those tend to make me mad cause I always mess…

You need to try the boxing. Talk about a workout. I can definitely feel it in my arms and shoulders.

I have begun the challenge doing all Yoga. I need to get these very old saggy muscles stretched and moving. I have the workout set with 13 yoga poses and 3 of the strength items. It takes about 35 minutes. I try to do this at least 4 times a week. I can already breathe easier in my slacks. Keep up the good work all you…
