Thanks a lot!!! I will seriously give it a try from today.

Yes, It is ultimately ME. I understand, but I am really frustrated the way I have been since 1/1/13. I do know what has worked for me in the past and what it takes to consistently lose and keep it off, I still don't do it. That is why I wonder WHY I am like this? what is going to take for me to realize THIS IS IT?

Thanks so much. I am dealing with 2 cancer news in my family, but that should not give me excuse to stress eat, it should rather point me to being healthy. I don't know what it is going to take for me to get started.

Thanks for the info,, I will definitely give it a try.

Thanks so much, I think that is the issue with me too. I do expect to see results fast and try drastic changes and then give up. Like since 1/1/13 I wanted to lose some weight for by b'ay today, instead I have gained a couple of lbs since then...:( I think doing a little change in diet and little more movement in life and…

Yeah, I see what you mean. I have successfully done south beach for 4-5 months and was feeling great and was manageable too, not sure how I got off and now I can't get back on. I did MFP last year summer and lost 12-14 lb and felt great too, but got off tracks again and now having hard time getting back. All of this is…

very inspiring. Thanks!!! I need motivation as well. At most I have only lost 15 lbs at a time and gain it all back as soon as I go off track. I do want to make life style change and be healthy and energetic as I have 2 little ones to take care.

Wow amazing journey. WTG!!!

Thanks 4FitChris, but I do not sweat easily. I could see my heart rate go up though. One of the problem is that I HATE exercise though I do feel great afterwards. I also have 2 small kids, so going to gym is not working for me right now. I do appreciate everyone's comments here. I will start wearing shoes at home when…

I might have to make this kind of change as I eat my b'fast at 6:30 am and I am hungry by 9:30 am at work and start eating my lunch...:( I feel hungry all day long too..:(

very good job. You are doing great!!!

If you don't mind the garlic and oninon, then I would say saute some crushed garlic and onion in little oil, add salt-black pepper, then add the rice and at last add finely chopped green onion/cilantro. You could do same for chopped up boiled potatoes too. Both would taste yummy...:)

I just don't like eggs so much in the morning, so every morning I end up breaking my "eating low carb" desire and then eat carbs rest of the day since I didn't start it in morning... please share some good veg high protein b'fast items with me.

I would like to find out and join as well. Please count me in.

I was 186 lb, wearing size 16, I am now 175 and still wear size 16, but it is fitting loose now. 14 fits, but too tight.

I love spicy food as well, but I don't add ready made sauces all the time. I make very spicy indian curries from scratch with fresh thai green chilis, ginger, garlic and onion, tomato. This is the base items I start with and then add all dried indian masalas like red chili powder, garam masala, etc and then chick peas,…
