I get on the scale every morning. Whether or not I register mentally what it says is another thing. I really am not functional some days before coffee, but afterwards I am too busy in my day to go weigh myself in.

Your body is adjusting to the change. Drink plenty of fluids, green tea if you like it, to get rid of the bloat.

I wouldn't say they burn calories. I use them more to flush toxins out of my body. They are great for that.
