There are no magic answers, but I find when I crave sugar, drinking water helps. It helps rid the body of waste. It also helps fill you up. Doesn’t take the place of sugar but it is satisfying just knowing the body is being cleansed. Good luck.

You could try low carb without eating loads of fat also. I am a low carb fan, but I never eat heavy fat. I manage on protein and veggies and berries, nuts, and a little fat. I am doing well with it. You might give it a try if the fat disagrees with you.

Yes, peel, and slice the fresh turnips as if you are making French fries. Toss in a tiny amount of oil with sea salt and pepper. Roast them in the oven until they are lightly browned, or darker if you prefer. When you eat them they will have a slightly sweeter flavor than eating them raw. I love them. 🌟

I like almonds, Brazil nuts (usually 1 at the time), hard salami and pepper jack cheese, celery and a small amount of peanut butter, sometimes carrots and sour cream dip.

I have to share...I went on vacation in the foothillls of Virginia. Did some hiking, and some more hiking. I was amazed at the energy I had. And best of all, I stayed with low carb through the 5 days and when I weighed today, I had lost 1.2 pounds, while on vacation. I am 😃!
