I'm almost 40 (will be in Sept) and looking to lose 40 pounds before my birthday. I'm calling it my 40 before 40. ;) I'm not really exercising right now bc I'm a TA in kindergarten and I hit at least 10K steps everyday. But I might add in some bodyweight and core exercises, if I can motivate myself to get up earlier. I'd…

Got myself off schedule. Was out of town this weekend, then the kids were home from school for MLK day and then had a sick kid on Tues. So I did total body hell yesterday. Wall push ups really did the trick. And I'll continue in with cardio today.
-
Oh wall pushups! Good idea. Whoever decided that on your knees pushup was the easiest level has obviously never seen my level of fitness.
-
OMG, whoever said Total Body Hell was entirely accurate. I physically cannot do any of those plank moves. I can't even do most of the modifiers. Good lord.

For breakfast, I like to have 1/4 cup (about 1 cup after cooking) steel cut oats, 2 tsp unpacked brown sugar and about a Tbsp of dried fruit. Add in a cup of tea, with 1.5 tsp sugar and a splash of milk and everything is right at 200 cals

I actually haven't lost a single ounce, which is discouraging. But i know that I've lost some inches in my belly because I can button up the last button on my coat. So that's something. I'll have to actually measure sometime.

I stay home so I do it whenever I can, typically morning or during naptime. Cardio is done for today. I forgot about stretch yesterday so I might do that during nap time. BrendSherwood - What in the name of sanity have you got on your head?

Day 4 = uuuuugggghhhhh! All done though. :) Seriously, he goes way too fast from floor to standing up, I got like 3 head rushes.
-
Just finished speed 1. I kind of liked it better than the cardio one.

I'm still doing my yoga sessions, which is not really a workout, but hey it helps me stretch all my sore muscles from T25. I might start up some running again or the arc machine at the gym as soon as things slow down a bit in my life.
-
Today will be my second day of T25 too! I'm not such a good at home exerciser, but life has been so busy that getting to a gym has been difficult. So I'm going to give this a try.
-
I'll add you! :) Great job, btw!
-
I'd love to join in as well. I've gained so much weight back this past year and I'd like to start 2015 20 pounds lighter!

Do you have a local YMCA? All of our local ones offer free babysitting times during the day and a limited amount in the evening. They also have pretty nice facilities. That might be an option for you. I love going to ours b/c I actually exercise. :)

Boy, you are absolutely right! My Dh dried my favorite jeans in the dryer the other day and I thought "Oh great, now I'll have to squeeze into them." But I put them on today, zipped them up and had room to spare! I was shocked and so happy! Alibreasy - we can start L2 together on Fri. :noway:

Day 6 here! I can do push ups the entire time now. I didn't think I'd get there really. And I'm starting to do the Natalie versions too. Woo! I haven't really lost any weight though. It's been a little tough for that b/c my family has 3 birthdays this week and that means 3 birthday dinners and 3 cakes. :noway: I only had a…

I did L1-D2 today and I'm sore! But I was actually able to do all of the push-ups today. I could only do half yesterday. Yay! I've been under in calories too.
-
I just did my first day of this, could I join too? I think I love Jillian, but I also kind of hate her too. I do have a ? though, what type of exercise are you all using to log it in?
-
I could use some friends! :)
-
Well I am usually pulling the little red wagon (with a 25 pound boy inside.) How's that. :) Onefatmom and Clairibou - I'll send friend requests. Yeah!
