New to the group, but I dusted off my Leslie DVDs this a.m. Did 5 miles. I've set a goal of 90 miles for the next 30 days. I'm tired of killing myself with HIIT and being in pain. I simply love walking.

Today was W1, D2 & I'm battling a sinus infection. I was supposed to do a 5k this a.m. but skipped, due to feeling crummy. Still, I went to the gym & started D2. Swapped out the back tire this a.m. & put the bike on the trainer for the winter, sadly. Still, I logged 45 min on it. I wish there was something I could attach to track "Miles" and not just time.

This gives me hope. I've been battling plantar fasciitis & shin splints for a year. I'm trying to fall in love w/my bike trainer now, but my heart wants to be a runner. Hopefully, in a few months of the bike, I'll be able to try running again.

I like her, too. She & Leslie Sansone are my "go to" workouts. I never have the dread factor with Kelly. She gets it done in a short amount of time & always offers a modifier. Love her!

I second (or third) the recommendation for Kelly Coffey Meyer. She's fan-flippin-tastic. No nonsense, but encouraging. I can burn 350 calories in 30 minutes w/no impact. I've battled it for 9 months straight. I've recently found some relief with the Dr. Scholl's active inserts (more than my orthotics), rolling with a golf ball daily and dramatically increasing my water intake. I log it under light aerobics 'cause it's more than walking. I did the 5 mile today & burned 534 calories. I'd forgotten I don't have to kill myself doing Jillian's workouts to get a good calorie burn w/no impact.

I second the recs for Kelly Coffey-Meyer! Her TLC (Train Like a Contender) and Kickboxing videos are KILLER! I feel so empowered after doing them & there are a ton of pre-mixes, too, so you never get bored.
