Good morning everyone! My name is Vida. I'm 32 years old, single mother to my 12yo son, live in Virginia, and I'm looking to start a vegetarian diet in the near future. I've joined this group to get some ideas on how to transition and get recipe/meal options. :smiley:

Aww! I can understand the pain and frustration that you're going through. Maybe changing your outlook is what's necessary. I try to eat the three square meals a day and have snacks in between, but, I too, am an emotional/bored eater ... so on the days I'm extra sleepy or stressing about something, my calorie intake rises ... smh

This isn't the most recent before and after but I went from 212 to about 190-200 in this pic w/ diet and little to no exercise ... the most I did was walking, I believe

I think I may need to up mine daily calories ... I usually am still hungry when trying to stay within my goal for the day and have been going above it lately. I'm 5'3"
