I have the powerblock sportblock 3-24 lbs adjustable dumbbells and they are AWESOME. Easy to change weight ( as long as you set them on a flat surface to change - carpet doesn't work so well.) I'd recommend scouring Craigslist to save some money.

I actually use the EAS protein (chocolate flavor) and this is my fave recipe. Definitely take a break - a week or two off. I know you don't want to do that (I didn't either when it happened to me) but I promise if you stop now and take a break to let your knee heal you're going to be better off.
