That's awesome, Ann! I have really been lazy about the weight loss. I haven't lost anything in about 6 months (haven't really gained, so there's a good side.) I really need to be more accountable though.

I joined.

No, but I signed up for tough mudder and warrior dash this year and I'm feeling the same way.

Shoes and clothes can absolutely weight that much. I would switch to just weighing at home.

Hey, I'm Jeh on the forums, though I haven't been around as much. I started on this site back in March, and loved it. I started at 180 pounds and am now at 150, with a goal of about 135-140 depending on how many inches I lose. Right now I just do cardio at the gym, but this weekend I plan on starting a weight lifting…

Congrats! That's amazing!

Can you just add some hot water to it to tone it down? (I never drink coffee, so I don't know how it works)

Job now: mechanical assembler, which has been my dream job for years (just got the job two weeks ago)

That's awesome! I can't wait until next summer, because I hope to be in the same place you are with the bikini! Lol.

Your diary isn't opened.

Any cleaning that I do above and beyond daily cleaning I count. Why should it bother you?

Maybe aerobics?

Also, the fact that she is comparing one child directly to another. All children are different. The one you kept may be VERY different from his brother. I k w my two sons are very different from each other.

When taking out a single stroller with two children (aged 7 months and 2 years) I sometimes make the 2 year old walk with a wrist leash. No, it does not make me a lazy parent. If I did not use the wrist leash, he has been known to dart towards the road. I still hold his hand, even with the leash on. My care giver also uses…

I have the same thinking as your sister in law. Honestly, when I "gain" it's only a pound or two, and nine times out of ten, it's because of salt, working out (muscle retains water to repair itself) or other such things that will resolve in the next couple of days. If you gain ten pound, I would record it though, because…

You can add me! I am about halfway too.

I am a newbie to running, too (just did week 6 day 1 though!) and I ended up just going to Sports Chek and getting a good pair of New Balance running shoe made for trail running (can't run on a tread mill, and beside, I live about 100 meters from a beautiful trail system. I have two small children as well, and couldn't…

Good luck! :)

I would continue tracking everything, even when you binge and purge. It will bring in to focus what you are putting into your body. It may be difficult to process, but hopefully you can get through it.

You can add me if you'd like!

I do my Kinect games while my boys are sleeping. I also do couch 2 5k runner when my husband comes home.

I typically try to only weigh once a week, and I have my weight loss set to about a pound a week. Some weeks I don't seem to lose anything, some weeks a lose two pounds. I just don't like the idea of eating less than my BMR.
-
You can add me! I have a 2 year old and a 7 month old. I am down to pre pregnancy weight (4 pounds less, actually), but I still have more to lose.
-
Not to burst your bubble, but the sudden loss is probably just water weight. You weightlossisn't just going to magically happen. It's something you have to work at. You didn't put it on in a month, and you sure aren't going to lose it all in a month. Having that expectation is just going to demotivate you when you don't…

I have a Kinect, and I like it. I have Your Shape, which is alright, but just recently I bought the Biggest Loser game, and I LOVE it.

Can you run on a local trail or something? I know I can't run on a treadmill (I get shin splints) but running on a trail in completely different and gives you something to focus on instead of just running.

I attempted the 30ds and couldn't do it. I really enjoy c25k thought. I am on week 6 day 1 and haven't had to repeat a day yet. You get two totally different results from each program though, so that is a question you'll want to ask yourself: do you want to strengthen your muscles or do you want to become a runner?
