That sounds very reasonable. Still a cut, but not drastic.

LOL! Hilariously True... really, all of Colorado. I live here and it can be tough!

You are gorgeous!! Glad you're feeling more confident. Thanks for the inspiring post!!!

These success stories are a HUGE inspiration for me personally. I read every day. The how to is really pretty simple math. Eat fewer calories than you burn and you'll get there. What did you do to lose the first 11? Sounds like an excellent start!

Way to go!
-
EXACTLY! It's super depressing to miss a lower reading and see a high one on your one day weigh in!
-
Same here with the Mirena. I use Happy Scale and it's very helpful for me. Keeps the panic at bay. :)

This sounds like a reasonable plan. Thanks! Based on that I likely could/should eat a little more anyway. I haven't been starving but I'd wouldn't mind something treaty!

Well, that's the thing. I WAS following TDEE based on online calculators. But now I have the Fitbit with HR and my calories burned seem to be FAR higher (average of 800 more a day) than what online calculators had assumed about me. I guess my biggest question is what to truly believe. Is my true TDEE around 2000 and the…

I just got my Blaze and love it so far. I wanted it mainly to track my HR and true calories expended. I try not to eat back what it says I can. I stick to my 1600'ish calories (which is 80% of my supposed TDEE). I am going to watch the true daily calories burned trend though for myself and see if the estimated 1950 TDEE…

1) Hitting 200 lbs 2) Having knee arthritis and the doctor telling me "10 lbs off is like 40 on your knees" Well.... ok then.

Hi neighbors! Love our city! ... I think I need some hiking poles. There are so many more hikes I want to do around here and I think those would help.
-
Congrats on hiking the Incline! I want to but I am struggling with my knees. Maybe by the time I get 20 lbs off I'll be able to do it. 200 days and 60 pounds is amazing!
-
Crazy Awesome! Which 14'er did you hike!? Your Photos are stunning. I am in the Springs. One of these days I'll manage a 14er but not with a bass on my back!

Hi! we have pretty similar stats! Sending you a friend request. I just got going again a couple weeks ago (weekend's have been challenging though) and am starting to make some progress. I am grateful that my family does well on whatever I make them so I can cook pretty healthy and just watch my portion sizes. Great job on…

This looks like a helpful exercise! Diving in... Just for today, 04/29/15 1) I will log EVERY SINGLE BITE/SIP 2) Talk a brisk walk during hockey game intermissions. 3) Get at least 64 oz water

I’ve missed getting to the gym for a week! Argh! Last night was my first night back. Too many things going on. I’ve gotten some cardio but no lifting. I proceeded with my program and did the increases from last workout and It. Was. Rough! Warmed up on the soccer field running around with kids (my husband is coach. It was…

This whole post is incredibly inspiring! Good for you!!! My husband ALSO rode that trail last summer, for the first time. They did it in two days and it was definitely the hardest thing he's ever done! I thought about wanting to this summer, but I think that goal is out of reach this year. I may try for next year. For now,…

Yes, I'd like to see some input on this as well. I HATE the rows. Like other's have said, for me, these feel super awkward and I never feel like I am doing them right.
-
No doubt!
-
NO KIDDING!!!!! That's incredible. Congrats on hitting your PR and goal!
-
Thanks. This is very helpful. My OHP is at 65 so I guess I'd do bar and then 55.
-
I think I'll jump in here too: Workout A for me last night. 5x5 Bench @ 80 lbs --- failed on final rep so I'll be at 80 again. 5x5 Barbell Row @ 90 lbs - complete and going up 5x5 Squat @ 110 lbs - complete and going up, but not feeling confident about it. These were tough! So, all in all, I am finally hitting what's…

I TOTALLY should have thought of that last night

I am going to have to watch myself for the overly ambitious thing too!

I think I am positioned right. It didn't come straight down on my face. Would've landed on my chest but I realllllly tried hard to keep that from happening and the bar kind of drifted back at my face. Again, I didn't give up/give in when I should have. So it's not as bad as if it had come straight down on me. My first…

Hi and welcome! I might be doing a similar obstacle course thing this May (A biggest loser event) and I think it'll be FUN! I am working up the courage to jump in and sign up. :) As for recommendations on the SL program, I am afraid I am too new to be able to help much. I can only say I had pretty much the same set up,…

That sounds like an incredible workout! And fun too! I am probably right where you are on weights, so just the bar would be around right starting point I suppose guess. Also, it'd be much easier to snag a bar to myself for that workout. And actually, I happen to have an Olympic bar at home, so I think this one I could do…
