Great Job for getting up and out the door!!

Logged 3.5 miles on the treadmill yesterday, alternating speed every minute between 4.0 (15:00/mi) and 7.0. (8:34/mi). Whew! Great workout. My running goal is 3 "runs" each week, of at least 3 miles in length. For this week, I walked 10 miles (and, yes, counting it as a run) on Sunday and then yesterday ran intervals…

Logged a 10-mile walk with the dogs today - all in the rain. Was invigorating!

My running goal is to run 3 days per week for at least 3 miles on each of those days. I could say that my goal is 9 mi/week or 36 miles for the month, but I am trying to ensure that I am CONSISTENT. Have been struggling with that a bit. Hoping that this helps!

Hello all! I'm new to this group and am very excited to share motivation and encouragement with anyone who would like another MFP friend.

Me too! Looking for accountability buddies and am motivated by seeing progress of friends.

I live in the Washington DC Metro Region.

I have a microscope at home and study insects for a living - high enough on the nerd scale? I used to have a lot of MFP friends, then was inactive for a couple of years and now have only a few pals left. Trying to lose 20 pounds, and could benefit from accountability to new pals! Interesting group of folks on this thread -…

Check this out - a diagram of various minerals/vitamins important for weight management. I discovered it while reading a book about nutrition. I don't know anything about the company, but the chart seems pretty solid, and I thought I'd share it with you. website: spectracell.com/media/weight-management-wheel.pdf

I usually try to stop drinking water 1-2 hours before bed, so that I don't wake up during the night.

Well, I didn't make it to my goal weight this month, but I am satisfied with the changes for the month, and am motivated to work even harder this month to continue the weight-loss. August turned out to be one of the hardest months at work that I've had ever since starting, because we had to prepare for a really big…

Hi, ladies! Everyone's doing great - keep up the good work! So far today, 104 oz water, but I'll drink some more tonight.
