Wowzer...think that might be me!!!

This happened to someone I know and when she lost the weight, they went back to being really nice (like after the surgery) There is hope!

I did mine 6 years ago, no issues, no problems, and I love them. I didn't make them huge, just a little touch more than what they once were (before age, gravity, kids, etc). I love the way I look, stand a little straighter...but I have seen some of my girlfriends go a bit far. If you weigh 100 lbs it just doesn't look…

I think this person confused lipo with WLS, LOL!!!

I think you wrote your question for this community very openly and honestly, knowing that the vast vast majority of us would try to talk you out of surgery....esp cheating to get surgery. I hope all our answers have helped you. I can only suggest one more thing: make your food diary public, engage in transparency, be open…

PS. Rice, beans and chicken thighs.... :-)

Hon, the cheapest dinner is an omlette!!! That said, I buy whole chickens and cut them up, much cheaper. Also, to be well balanced, you can do pasta with a bag of frozen broccoli, garlic and some chicken - this one's great - it "stretches" the chicken and has the right protein carb ratio. If kids hate broccoli, try…

The "science" quoted above is a gross misrepresentation of the glyco cycle. No, No, NO.

Well.....not really, unless you eat, like, a crumb. They are SO calorie dense that in order to eat a satisfying amount, you jeopardize your daily deficits. Scrambled egg whites, lean turkey rolled up with a lettuce leaf, etc. These are better.

I think low carb works only if its permanent. Otherwise, it all just come right back. Don't get rid of your carbs - change them. Popcorn and Goldfish? Why not a whole grain cracker with PB or an apple, or a peach, or lean turkey on whole wheat bread. Yogurt, brown rice, salads, fruits.... These carbs are your friends!

YUP. All day long here too. It's pretty neat when you can tell exactly how your body reacts to what you've eaten...like a salty meal etc. Not an obsession, kind of like washing hands. I weigh, I see, but I don't obsess over the number.

SO TRUE!!! And since its so rare that anyone has veggies with absolutely nothing on them, no salt, no olive oil, NOTHING, you must must track everything. I consider corn and potatoes starches, not veggies, and look at how many calls they have!!! The best to do is track everything, I mean WHY NOT???

I think you should stop eating fast food and engineered "bars".

I just had a cup of fresh pineapple dices...only 74 delicious, sweet, mouth watering and most importantly, filling and satisfying calories. A cookie can't beat that feeling. Maybe 5 cookies could, but then ... the calories!!!

Im not sure what your goals are but judging from your pics you don't haver that much weight to lose. If a person only needs to lose 5-10 lbs, even a bit more, it takes a lot longer and a lot more attention to detail. Look at what your diet consists of, make sure you're not eating pre-prepared processed food, and give it…

Welcome! Wish you lots of luck!

So here is the thing .... when you shop you should NOT be buying "meals", you should be buying ingredients. Once you understand what is in each meal you consume, and the calorie counts for all the ingredients you use, you won't be asking questions any longer. Food that is nutritious, prepared with love and with healthful…

No mustard, vinegar or hot sauce, but YES ketchup, gum, etc...

I think the answer lis in the fact that MFP already calculates the "deficit" you need to create in order to lose weight in a sensible (i.e.. not too fast) manner. It's important to eat your "exercise" calories cause if you don't you will be creating way too big of a calorie deficit which is actually counterproductive to…

I eat breakfast type foods, but a little bit later. I feel the same way in the morning, so now I'm a huge fan of BRUNCH! The bottom line, don't force it!

I'm going to tell you that I escaped that hell-trap by taking some unconventional advice, and it worked like a charm! It's not that you are doing anything wrong, but your hormones are "off". I hope you are not taking any synthetic hormones 'cause that can make matters even worse. So, assuming that you are not taking…

PS. Try ice skating: leisure pace in the winter! It's awesome too!!
-
It's true! Its one of THE BEST calorie blasters out there ... as long as you don't consider paddling around in 2 feet of water to be leisure swimming. Just a normal paced stroke, whether in the pool, lake or ocean will burn that many calories! Remember, rarely do people on vacay swim for an hour straight, but two 30 min…

I kept at it....doing it without any modifications at the higher level. I also increased my hand weights to 6 lbs. And yes, I do continue to see results.

I'm 5'7'', almost at my goal of 150, and I see already that its not small enough. I'd like to be 140 aswell. Good luck, let me know if there's anything I can do to help! I'll friend you!

I had two. I ran and kept my overall weight within limits. Yes, I'm on this site, but my weight is generally not "over". I used a good cream. Did I mention I ran? You can't crunch your way to tighter skin, you need to give it time. If not, and if it is within the budget, once you're done with kids have the things tucked. I…
