Thanks Nikki! Tummy troubles are no joke and I hope that fast helped you out some :)

Regular, just in moderation.

I weighed in at +/- 260lbs in 2008: After an illness I weighed in at 211lbs in November 2010 when I began with MFP: I've maintained at around 150lbs for the last year:

Sort of related: I've noticed that, generally, people are nicer and smile more at me now that I've lost weight. Its quite appalling.

My boobs are so sad now. I started as a 42DD and although I'm currently a 36D, there really isn't anything there. Just the droopy carnage of what used to be my "best feature."

I'm 5' 6 1/2" and currently sitting at 145lbs. It can be done...just takes lots of self-discipline and effort :)

Thanks everybody! It was definitely easier to put it on than it has been to take it off. I will definitely say that, for me, it has been 85% mental - believing that I can do it, making myself exercise and convincing myself that junk food and soda is NOT my friend. Believe in yourself and take it day by day, pound by pound!!

Figured it out. Thanks :)

I have Hashis. My only treatment is Synthroid 125mcg a day first thing in the morning before eating. I have days where I feel sluggish and gross, but for the most part as long as I take the medicine I'm fine.

Thank you! It's a daily struggle for sure, but the payoff is huge. Knowing that I can come here for support is so valuable to me!!!

Thanks everybody! I was actually in that store before I started with MFP and it was so depressing to be in there with a skinny friend and know that absolutely nothing in that store would fit me. I'll never forget....a few years ago (well into the 200s) I was at the mall and decided to pop into VS to find out what my bra…

Thanks so much!

Thanks ladies....its just proving to be hard because I've never wanted to be one of those girls who walk around like I'm trying to show the girls off....haha!

You are starting one pound lighter than I was three weeks ago. I'm down 10 pounds so far. Good luck!! ** Feel free to add me :)

I gained a net of 5 pounds over 10 days with my recent TOM. It ended yesterday and I'm back at the weight I was at before the weight gain began.
-
I started this on November 8th and for the first 5 days I lost weight every day. It did unbelievable things for my spirit to log that loss every day. My TOM threw a wrench into everything for the past 10 days, but today I am back where I was before the madness began. I intend on logging whatever weight I may lose daily.

If it were me I would try them on first thing in the morning :)

I'm in! I'm currently 203.5 and want to be somewhere between 135 and 150 (5'6").
-
You have the same questions as me!
-
Is it time for your period? I lost 13 pounds in my first week, and have gained a net of 2-3 pounds in the past week. I have never owned a scale and didn't know that I gained weight before/during my period. I'm told that it will all even out afterwards. Here's to hoping!

Hi! I'm new, but would love to join! I started with MFP last Monday and currently have just about 50 pounds left to lose :)

Thanks so much for all the advice. My doctor told me to only consume 1200 calories a day when I asked about weight loss. I have never dieted and like to think of this more of a lifestyle change. I started walking two days ago and, surprisingly, I enjoy it. Ultimately, though, losing weight is what I need to happen.

I posted something about being tired myself a little while ago. I started this on Monday and each day I have came in under my calorie goal. Today (about 3:00) I went back and looked at the calories I had consumed so far today and it was only 430! I'm sure the fact that I have cut out sugar and caffeine has a lot to do with…

I have stayed hungry all day, but like I said, I'm just so unsure of what to eat that I wind up just not eating much at all. I understand the need for protein and fiber, but the rest of it just confuses me. I don't know what's good and bad and what I need and don't need even though all I've done all week is read and read.…

It's nice to know that there are people struggling with this too. I know I'll never meet anyone from here, but it means a lot that a stranger would take a second out of their day to congratulate me on my weight loss. Good luck!

Thank you everyone!
