  • Would love to join. I like your plan.... (Stay within range, eat nutritious foods, move, drink water.) I'd love to be down 15 - 20 by the new year.

  • I'm looking forward to an answer to this too... Had mild tennis elbow, started lifting a couple weeks ago, and OUCH! I am laying off the lifting for now, and hoping to let that heal up. Doing some other exercises to strengthen muscles around that area... Is this a good idea?
  • I like the "La Tortilla Factory" high fiber, high protein wraps. (80 cals) Honestly, though, cabbage leaves totally work for me. Yum!
  • Feel free to friend me! I'm also a mom of 5, and a SAHM (although I work very part time from home). Love having involved buddies! :)
  • I've heard of this... some of my friends were trying it. (Apparently, it's how sherpas take their cuppa.) I was really grossed out, but I guess unsalted butter isn't too far off from cream in your coffee... And from Dr. Weil... http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/QAA401262/Should-I-Drink-Bulletproof-Coffee.html

  • Thanks alot y'all. :) Good to know this is normal, and will pass (until I up my weights again...) :) Of course, I had to Google "Doms" - just shows how little I know about this kind of pain! I guess I'll be getting familiar.
  • What a wonderful transformation! And it's so sweet to be healthy!
  • So, so motivating to see what you've done! Thanks for sharing.
  • It's amazing that you and your wife were able to make such a big change right there in the grocery store! Congratulations! Your attitude and work ethic are awesome - great changes!
  • Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!! Love your smile all the way through. I think you look like Evangeline Lilly now. (And I think she's super pretty. :) )
  • One other little note that I just learned.... The longer you keep the yogurt warming in the cooler, the tarter it will be. I made a batch and kept it doing it's yogurt thing for only 6 hours, and it had no tang whatsoever. I like it like that, but not quite to that extent. Overnight (8 hours ish) seemed to be just right.
  • Similar to the last poster, I *love* to make yogurt, but w/o a machine. My super low tech recipe: 2 quarts organic milk 3 TBSP stonyfield plain yogurt. 1/4 cup pure maple syrup (optional) vanilla (optional) Pour the milk into a large glass 2 qt measuring bowl Microwave on high for 17 minutes Let rest for 30 minutes, or…
  • Hey friends, Sorry I've been awol. Super busy time right now. Down 1 pound this week, so glad about that. Really eager to make into the next set of "10's" (the 170's). And anxious too. Will not be checking in daily - (Still tracking on WWOnline) - just have to focus on "geterdone" right now. :) - H
  • Congrats, Run! :) Love to see those big whole numbers!
  • Great Chipper! Slow and steady wins the race. :) Talk about slow, i was down .2 Look forward to reading your blog.
  • Hi all, I went out of town this weekend and didn't track... glad to be back to my routine this morning. Chipper, I'd be happy to share lessons etc., and even more happy to read others responses! :) (just to clarify, do you mean lessons from the new 360, or lessons from the year, or something else?) thanks! Heidi
  • Great to meet you Runbyme! Welcome. Such an awesome loss! You should absolutely enjoy that. Congrats. I weigh in on Wednesdays, so I definitely post then, and several other days a week as well. I'll be awol for a few days since I'm going out of town. Back on Monday! Talk to you all soon!
  • Hi Libbi! Glad to see you're back at it, and still moving forward after the holiday. Starting to get moving should help too! I haven't even started exercising, but slowly, slowly, slowly I am starting to think that I might. :) I'm going to check out a barre routine (which is almost comical considering how non-ballerina…
  • Wow, that sounds incredibly draining! You're so good to keep your head in the game with working out during this time! I am down .4 since last week, so I'm pretty excited about that considering the holiday in there. Glad to be losing, not starting a weight gain trend during this season. Take care... -H
