  • I love a cardio workout or yoga when my legs are sore. The blood gets moving and they always feel better!
  • I was just deleted and I totally understand why, but here's the thing: I am struggling and need support. So why would you turn your back on somwone when they are here for support? A quick message would be nice. I am trying to log and eat healthier, it is a struggle every day. And when my supporters leave, it makes it…
  • Wow! These really show how well you did and hard you worked.
  • Loved it. Fun, lost 10 pounds on month one. I had to quit because it was jackin' up my knees, but when I lose more weight, I will try it again!
  • It is similar to an audiobook in that it tells a story. As you are in a post-apocolyptic world, you are one of a small number of humans left and you are a runner. You are sent on missions to collect supplies for the remaining humans such as water, meds, secret files that will defeat the zombies, etc. Zombies you ask? As…
  • Used it for the first time tonight and I really liked it! I hate running, but this kept me going a lot longer than I normally would have and made it enjoyable. Totally worth the money!!
  • By the way, I misspelled 'strength'. Oops, it was a typo, I swear!
  • I am in my late 30s with about 50 to lose and I loved it. Having said that, I had to quit because it really did a number on my knees. It is pretty hig impact and even getting new shoes, a mat to jump around on, ice, ibuprofin, etc. didn't help in the end. I would lose weight first and then go at it.
  • I signed up for one in September and this was great! I have no upper body strangth, but I am hoping that P90x will help with that. Anyone else have any tips?
  • Ummm, gross. I don't want to know any details more than that. Ew. I would think it would be more strength than cardio, so you will have to think of the movement you did and then try to find a matching exercise. Poor python.
  • The only way to get an accurate calorie burn is to wear a heart rate monitor. It is an investment for sure, but it really helps keep you in line. You don't want to over or under estimate!
  • I have the same problems and I eat a lot of fiber (but not enough to create the opposite problem!) Lentils are one of my go-to foods when things get a little problematic. I have resorted to laxitives just to relieve some of the pain, although that is not fun!
  • I am registered for it! I have never even run a race.....this should be interesting!
  • i change my popcorn around. Maybe try these: Curry Seasoning Cajun Seasoning Truffle Salted Popcorn Paprika and Garlic Vinegar and Dill (ok, this is weird, but I like it. I mist a little rice vinegar and sprinkle dill on it) Garlic and Parmesan Cheese
  • I eat breakfast burritos. Egg whites, pprjack cheese, bacon, and a flour tortilla. It sounds way worse than it is, it is about 300 calories. If I have time, I add red peppers and onions. cook the bacon ahead of time, put the egg whites in the micro and it is done in less than 5 minutes!
  • I totally disagree with your comments about WW. The whole point of logging your food and counting your points is to show you a new lifestyle. Very similar to MFP actually. Once you hit your goal weight, you meet with a team leader who will tell go over your maintainence plan.
  • I am still in it! I am starting a hybrid of Insanity and P90x though because my knees are really taking a hit. It used to be that I could rest between days if I needed to heal them up a bit, but they are always sore now. Doing some strength training with it. I miss it already though! I miss the sweat and accomplishment of…
  • Thank you for the great advice. I feel much less overwhelmed!
  • Go to a running shoe store and get fitted properly! Not a sporting goods store, think RUNNING store!
  • Mine has improved as far as the cramping and my PMS that used to be horrible and long lasting is hardly noticeable now. I think there are changes and everybody will be different. It may level out in a couple months, but with you being on the pill, it won't hurt to call your doc to verify.
  • I will be starting next Monday too. I hope that my knees make it and that I see some results!
  • I have a mat that I use and I also got new shoes before i started. I think it is because of all the jumping and the extra weight on me! I am going to keep going. I have a week of rest (of sorts) between months, so we will see how it goes. thanks to all!
  • I think you are going to be doing a lot of pushups!
  • That is what I was thinking. I think if I take a little more time to do it and modify, I should be fine. I don't want to give up the plan because it works! Did you see more results in the second month?
  • If you read the post, she said "too much protein is wasteful and harmful" and that is correct. Too much protein can damage kidneys and cause other damage. How can protein just lie in wait until it is absorbed as you suggessted? We don't need to get into a heated and rude debate, I just felt that despite your statement of…
  • I use the recipe builder function. It is a bit of a hassle up front because you have to measure the entire dish to find out how many servings their are, but once it is in there it is great.
  • This. You can never get rid of fat cells, only shrink them in size.
  • I have large ladies. I have tried the Enbrel, but that is one GIANT uniboob look and hate that look. I got a Donna Karan (weird, I know) bra from a custom lingerie shop in town. It is, by far, the BEST I have ever had. It has the underwire on the outside (again, weird, I know), but the support is outstanding. I have been…
