Strangely I have been a size 5 U.K. most of my adult life, however since gaining weight I am now a 4. Maybe it is an age thing, not really sure lol

I think you misunderstood, when I said maybe this s me I meant maybe I am just meant to be overweight, you know when you think sod it if I am fat then so what. Of cousre I am not happy with myself I need to lose 20lb

So I just a a fun size twix,time out,dairy milk and kit kat, and i dont even like milk chocolate I like the really dark 85% stuff. I have issues hear that need solving. Thank you all sooo much for your support.

You know what i have just realised i do this every time i am on my own! my hubby has gone away for the weekend and here i go with the wine and binges. when he is home i am pretty good with what i eat but every thursday and teusday when he goes to run the locaL poker i binge.

I know you are all correct but I just feel like I am flogging a dead horse so to speak. I have tried every diet there is. i was 9-10 stone up untill 2009 and now i am 12, just cant seem to shift a lb, and i get really down and think sod it its not going to happen so what the hell

No but diet isnt always brill. most people have an unbalanced omega 6 to 3, and the micronutrients are important and not sure if i am doing well on those.

In fairness the link you provided to calculate my calorie needs is the highest out of all the calculations I have done, whether it is a calculator or I work the figures out myself to maintain my 166lbs I would look to be eating about 1700cals. So if I go by those other figures I eat 1600 per day I may not lose weoght this…

Cool , it just seems an awful lot of cals to be eating since I havent lost any on 1200. plus when I put my stats into MFP as sedentary it always comes up with 1700ish to maintain and most other calculators give me around 1700-1900 for weight mainenance. This is why with a deficit of 500cals I end up on 1200-1300
