Confession? I hate counting calories/sodium/sugar/carbs/protein. I want to give up all the time, but I know I can't to reach my goals.

I'm currently eating broccoli, celery and carrots with a tablespoon of ranch veggied dip. This works for me! Or almonds, peanuts, cheese, strawberries, apples, etc. Just switch out the junk with healthy foods!

I think you look great right now! I'd say if you want to keep working out go for it! But 131 looks good on you. Just do some weight training to tone up.

Start small and work your way up to more intense exercise! Be sure you are eating healthy and within your calorie goal if you are looking to lose weight. It takes a lot of time and patience. Good luck!

Cinnamon Roll... mmmmmm... the yumminess without all the carbs LOL

I was told by a physiologist that it does matter what you put into your body. She told me to get most of my calories from lean protein and veggies. Of course I asked her what I should eat to gain muscle and lower body fat %. I believe you should have carbs, but no more than 150 per day. I believe sugar is ok in moderation…

Thank you!! I appreciate this!! :D

I mainly do Jillian Michaels DVDs. Her No More Trouble zones has me working with weights and I lift a little after walking on my lunch breaks. At home I do other DVDs like killer abs or kickboxing. Can someone give me a strength training routine that may help?? I do need to reduce sugar, I just love yogurt and fruit so…

I finished 30DS and then bought a lot of her other DVDs. I like them all but her kickbox fast fix, banish fat boost metabolism and killer abs are what I'm focusing on now. I do her yoga meltdown occasionally and I've tried ripped in 30. Just be sure to mix it up so your body is working hard and getting that heart rate up.

I guess everyone is too busy obsessing over cats today.

I switched my cat to Iams Digestive Health food and she stopped vomiting and has even lost weight. She highly recommends.

I'm maintaining not trying to lose, and I am lifting! I think I need to increase my calorie intake.

Ok! I just upped it to 1550 net cals and I'm going to see how it goes. I'll eat more on lift days and hope that I'm gaining more muscle than fat. But I do eat pretty clean and try to get a lot of protein.
-
Yeah net as in eating my exercise calories too. I'm definitely trying to gain muscle and I feel like I may be doing something wrong =\ Hopefully it's just water weight and I'll see it dissipate soon.
-
I should mention that I've been lifting weights and recently increased them.

Even though I've been drinking plenty of water, does that mean I still have more water retention?

I'm 24 years old and 5'0" 107lbs (I was 105 three weeks ago)

I add blackberries. It's delicious and ads a nice purple tint to the yogurt lol

I hate the word "retarded" because it upsets me. I also hate "totes" "cray cray" and "baby" (when calling significant other baby)

Foods that remind me of summer like watermelon or corn on the cob.

I would definitely get tested for food allergies. It could make this whole process easier by finding out which foods cause inflammation. I was tested when I was little and again 3 years ago. I've been getting allergy shots since! I have no food allergies, luckily, but I'm pretty much allergic to everything else LOL.…

My suggestion to you would be to eliminate one food at a time, if it doesn't help with eliminating head aches... eliminate another food that triggers them. Then you can figure out exactly what is causing it. I doubt it's all foods. It's probably a certain food or a couple foods that give you head aches. High protein…

I lost 20lbs calorie counting and exercise. I now am trying to lose body fat % and get toned and build muscles so I'm eating cleaner and making better food choices... but I did lose weight by just calorie counting and eating what I wanted!

My doctor prescribed me the inhaler Flovent two years ago. I feel like I've been cured! But I have allergy and exercise induced asthma, so I take it every night before bed. I also have to carry around a rescue inhaler in case of an attack, which has only happened around allergens.

Hahahha! Thanks for the input! It makes sense to me!
