Good point! I guess I haven't been tracking macros enough to know if it's not going well. I'll just make sure I'm within my calories, but I know that macros are important for losing body fat, right?

I'm 5'0" tall, 114lbs, small frame. I have wide hips, smaller waistline, small bust, and bigger thighs/butt. For about 4 years I was 105-108lbs maintaining, then I got this new job and let my good eating and exercise habits slip away. I'm going back to better habits, but not getting any smaller. Just staying at 114.

Thank you! Yeah I measure, and no changes. I've been on MFP since 2012 and have lost several inches and lbs in the past, but I feel like I can't budge ever since I gained over the past few months. I think stress of wedding planning and lack of sleep are the culprits.

I'm 114lbs and I was 105lbs at 5'0" tall. Even a 1lb gain shows on me, so 9lbs has really made my waist, hips, and belly bigger. I'm not aiming for the full amount of weight loss by the wedding, I just need help jump starting the weight loss so I can lose a bit to be more comfortable in my dress.

Thank you! hahaha I think I'm going to invest in a scale. I have an apple watch that I use to track burned calories during a workout and a Fitbit for calories I burn throughout the day. Who knows if they're accurate though. I'm going to avoid any and all crash diets, as I've seen people go through them and it isn't pretty.…

I've tried this and I felt really deprived. I'm an avid snacker, so fasting is really difficult for me. If I'm hungry (stomach growling) I'm gonna eat lol.

I usually do half a scoop, which is only 60 calories and in almond milk which is 20 calories, so it's not adding too much. Plus I make sure to log it.

This is a good point. I have it set to lose 1lb a week. Maybe if I lower to .5lbs I will start seeing a change!

I've been tracking calories, but not consistently. I'll work harder at it! I did buy a body suit from Spanx and it makes the dress fit, but I'd like to lose however much I can before May. I have 7 weeks before the wedding and 8 before the honeymoon!

I want to lose the 10lbs, but not necessarily before the wedding. I was 105lbs when I bought the dress and I'm 114lbs now. But any weight loss is going to help it fit better!!

I tried unlinking from both sides and reinstalling the apps and nothing is working. The meals from MFP link to FitBit, but steps from FitBit are not linking to MFP. This started last week and I can't seem to get it fixed. Very frustrating!!

I was doing 40c/30p/30f for a while, but noticed some intestinal issues. Now I'm doing 50c/20p/30f and it seems to be a good balance for me, digestive wise. It has slowed my progress a bit, but I feel a lot better. I may try going back to 40/30/30 if I can find a source of protein that I enjoy. My cal intake is usually…

Thank you for suggestions! I have had Tuna before, but I just haven't had any experience cooking it so I'm afraid to. I also am ok with battered shrimp/calamari, but that isn't very healthy. I'm not huge on cod or salmon, especially cooking it. I will definitely try more shakes and protein supplements! As for dairy, I have…

I've been on MFP for two years, I'm 5'0" and started at 125 got to 104 and now maintaining at 106-107. Trying to gain muscle and lower Body Fat % so I have a flat tummy :)
-
I want to lose my belly fat too. I have been using circuit training so I get strength, cardio and abs all in one workout. I'm 5'0" 107lbs and hold all my weight in the abdomen, butt and thighs. I think my real problem is sitting at a desk all day. I may need to try sitting on an exercise ball at my desk! Wonder if I'd get…

OK, I guess I should have mentioned you'll lose muscle mass if you continuously eat at a deficit. My bad.
-
Don't go below 1,200 net calories. (net calories means eat more if you burn more than your daily allowance)
-
^ Agree.

I guess I should have picked a better title for this post!

I aim for 40% Carbs, 30% Fat, 30% Protein, buuuuutttt I usually hit 45% carbs, 35% Fat, and 20% protein. I'm usually getting 65-80g protein and 140-150g carbs and 50-60g fat. I don't aim for perfect, just as long as I get my protein higher than 50 and my carbs no higher than 150. If I'm doing strenuous exercise I up these…

If you aren't body building 60-80g of protein is normal for women. 120 is a little excessive and only needed if you are hardcore muscle training.
-
I would just stay away from refined flour and sugar. Try to get carbs from natural whole grains. That does seem like a load of carbs, but I think if you are training hard you need more of everything!

I'm 5'0" 105lbs and I net 1,500 cals a day on most days. When I net more I gain a little, but it's easy to lose. I just eat less for a few days. My BMR is like 1,200 so I figure eating 1,500+ and maintaining means my metabolism is good??
-
I make sure I leave enough calories for my after dinner snack, which is usually a bowl of cereal and a piece of dark chocolate :)
-
I've been told that I have an apple shape since I hold a lot of fat around my middle (mostly under belly button). I started out doing Atkins eating less than 80 carbs per day and most of them came from fruit. I lost 7lbs in one month. Then I started to eat bread, potatoes, carrots, and crackers and was still losing, so I…

I'm 24, 107lbs, 5'0" and I eat 1,550 to maintain and I do eat my exercise calories and I've done well with maintaining at this rate. To lose I eat 1300-1400. My total with exercise calories averages about 1800-2000 calories. My guess is your running burns more than you think and you need to increase a little or eat…

Oh that's tough!! I definitely need to lose the bread and sugar lol it's definitely my biggest challenge.
-
Congrats! I'm actually jealous that you are losing your mid section so quickly! I can't seem to make mine go away lol
-
I have found hair in my sealed container of Smucker's Jelly! I also found bug larvae in Barilla Spaghetti and in CVS brand pistachios. This afternoon there was a bug crawling on my already washed strawberries. I ate them anyway lol

Confession? I hate counting calories/sodium/sugar/carbs/protein. I want to give up all the time, but I know I can't to reach my goals.
