I have been doing zumba + other classes and exercies 3-5 days a week for the last 5 months. only 3 pounds lost but over 15 inches.

ok, so if i go in scooby and change my exercise level to 3-5 hous a week, it tells me that 1882 is my "cut". In that case, I would not eat back my exercise calories because they are already built into my daily number. Is that correct?

Sorry i havent replied, i havent had computer access to the message boards for a couple days. I really apprecitate everyones help, I am deperately trying to figure out what I am not doing correctly. When I started EM2WL I did a metabolism reset, then exercised sporadically, and lost nothing. So in November, I started…

-
Awesome!! Thanks for the input and support! I am starting with a trainer tomorrow, I was nervous about hurting myself on my own.
-
First off congratualtions on losing 9 pounds!!! thats wonderful!!! a few questions tho.. if you eat 1500 cals a day would that be less than your BMR? you should never eat less than BMR.
-
Thats fantastic!!! Good job!!
-
Having a "cheat night" and still stayed under TDEE?! That is a victory in itself!! Im sure the change was just due to sodium, etc.
-
I struggle with this also, bump for later reading

thats amazing!!! and congratulations on losing 60+ pounds thats fantastic!!!!
-
Great job!!!!! 100+ pounds lost is amazing! I love reading success stories, congrats!
-
Thanks everyone! I know 5 pounds isn't much but it feels amazing to me. And if you are new to EM2WL I reccommend reading all the stickys and watching the youtube vids. They are very inspirational!
-
Love this! I was also excited to finally eat! I was tired of starving myself, and seeing NO results. I was ready to give up. Thats when I saw some posts by a few of the people in the EM2WL group, and was directed there.
-
not long, I lost 5 pounds in two weeks, started losing after the first week of increased calories. I was mentally prepared for it to take longer, as I had been warned that sometimes it takes a long time, or that I might need a full metabolism reset.
-
The lifestyle change does work. How many weeks are you resetting for? My "planned" reset is in September, as long as I don't plateau before then.
-
Thank you!!!! I must say I was skeptical at first about Em2wl but it really does work!
-
Bump, curious about responses!
-
I will do that right now, thanks!!!
-
You look amazing!!! Awesome Job!!!

How did you get the eat more to weigh less on your ticker?
-
First thing I am going to do when I meet my goal, is buy a bikini. Then I am going to start some hardcore flexibility and strength training to keep the weight off . I think i will always use MFP or another site to keep me on track and healthy, because I never want to feel the way I do now ever again.
-
I'm in!!
-
This! google fat 2 fit website, then use the BMR calculator to get your TDEE number. then eat 15% less than your tdee number. you can custom set your calorie goal in MFP. eating 1200 calories a day is not susatainable in the long term. also check out the group on mfp called "eat more to weigh less" and read all the stickys…

sounds like you have a wonderful doctor! when i approached my doctor about losing weight he told me to "join weight watchers and do some cardio" without asking me any questions or giving any advice on HOW to lose the weight. your doc is a keeper!

Awesome!! keep up the good work. its so nice to read sucess stories when there is so much negativity out there
