kettlebells are a great workout. i use them with my trainer and i added them as part of my workout. take it easy at first. getting down the form and the movements is key so you don't hurt your back and with your bad knee def take it easy. go with a light kettlebell at first since you will be working with that weight the whole time.0

I love my kettlebell!!! I can't do impact cardio because of my knee surgery so the kettlebell exercises I do not only give me my cardio for the day but strength training as well.0

Awesome!! Thanks for the input and support! I am starting with a trainer tomorrow, I was nervous about hurting myself on my own.0

I have had two knee surgeries and LOVE KBs! I do The Skogg system at home and LOVE it. I considered a class, but with two kids and a husband that has a funky schedule, it's easy to squeeze in a 15 min workout at home!
Feel free to add me as a buddy! I need workout motivations!0 -
I LOVE kettlebells! 90% of my work outs are with them. I love that once you learn the basics you can do them at home. For me, I would not have had as much success without them. Good Luck!!!0

Kettle bell class is a great workout! But I don't know if it's just me but the kettle bell would bump my wrist and fore arm a bit and irritate it. I wear those sweat bands around my wrists now to prevent that. Other than that just drink a lot of water and enjoy!0
