I was successful with this program. Just remember not to run too fast. Running is running whether it's 4 1/2 mph, 5 mph or 6 mph. I started out trying to run too fast and would get winded quickly. Don't pump your arms (I just held mine flexed at 90° as still as possible) when you run as this will up your heart rate too.…

You are right! When I started almost a year ago, it took 6 weeks for me to lose the first pound, I started off with couch to 5K. I am 5'3" and 125 lbs. Started at 155 lbs. Took approximately 7 months to loose 30 lbs.

My most recent NSV.....People actually coming up to me and saying......Ok Michelle....you look GREAT.....but it's time to STOP!!! (I've lost 28lbs and my goal is 30lbs.) I'm 5'3" and currently 127 lbs. My goal is 125 (not at all unreasonable). :o))

I started running 3/12/12 with couch to 5K. I ran my first 5K this past Saturday. I run 6 days a week for 30-40 minutes, anywhere from 3-4 miles a day. That's 20-25 miles a week. :o) I don't LOVE it yet, but it's more economical for me than a trainer, gym membership, equipment, etc and I've lost 25 lbs. :o)

My 5K results! It was a 2nd Annual "Setting the Pace" 5K/10K to benefit a Center in our community that caters to special needs adults and children. There were 48 running total in the 5K.
