  • Do you do body measurements as well? Sometimes, exercising more and eating less can make things worse, you need to make sure you are eating enough so that your body has something to burn. On the other hand, you may be building up muscle, depending on your excercise and intensity.
  • It is hard having kids in the house, but as a parent that is part of the challenge. Getting the younger kids to bed will be key, regular bed time will allow you to plan around it. Once the kids go to bed, I can prep for the next day (or next few days) and get a quick workout in. Cooking in bulk and freezing separate…
  • If you are putting in the correct weights and products that you are using then there is no issue in putting the correct portion size you are having. Not sure what else can be said on this.
  • Think you are best contacting MFP support
  • Had to have mine removed 3 years ago after loosing 4 stone over about 6 months. Surgery took place just before Christmas, wasn't allowed to lift my kids up on Christmas day and got myself down about it, needless to say with all the treats of Christmas I put some weight back on and have continued to do so. Now trying to get…
  • Looks good :) definitely going to try the Banana Pancakes!
  • I lost 4 stone last year and the Doctor believes that this quick weight loss is what caused my gall stones. In December I then had it removed, this set me back as I got myself down as was unable to lift anything over the Christmas period, this included my 1 year old son (was heart breaking). In the last couple of months I…
  • Sorry, not sure I understand, what's wrong with grabbing a bit of fruit? If you trying to cut out snacking, it will take time for your system to adjust, to no longer expect it. Chewing gum and drinking water are the 2 ways I would do this, not sure of any others...
  • This looks amazing! Deffo gunna try this!
  • This, you can't expect to be fit if you not eating healthily.
  • I was stressing myself out over alot of things at work and at home, having a bad time at the moment feeling rather alone even sat in a room with people and I work myself up about it. What I find helps me is to try and let go, put my headphones in and go for a run, it actually helps me look forward to my next cardio session…
  • Oxfordshire - down about 40lb still a long way to go
  • Keep going! Every time you struggle, repeat the the one you struggle with, it is a great programme designed to get anyone to 5K. I too have asthma, still have it, but I don't let it get in the way as I believe it is linked to my weight. Keep taking those steps, keep going a bit more, keep pushing for that extra minute.
  • I hear you and feel your pain. My family don't get together too often when all of us are there, this weekend we all met up for a meal and when trying to become a better healthier person and change my lifestyle (its not dieting if you are doing it for the rest of your life) I turned down pudding when it was offered at the…
  • I would never have classed myself as slim but I did lose 4stone (56lbs) last year. It was a great feeling, but in December I had to have an operation and put 2 stone back on as was out of action for 3 months! Been making up excuses since then, but this month am back in business! Essentially ever dream is a goal, ok so…
  • C25K is great, I did this last year and was able to run a 10k event by the end of the year! With the help of this app I not only found a new love for running, but lost 4 stone! Having to start again at the moment, on week 2 atm, due to an operation in December setting me back, but back on it and loving every step I take…
  • We all fail, I lost 4 stone last year and due to an operation was out for 3 months, after that only have myself to blame for the 2 stone gain! You need to find your goal and why you want to be there, remember the feeling of completing a hard slug at the gym, the satisfaction of taking time out of the office/home life and…
  • Looking good! If you that bothered by the scales, then there are scales out there which measure fat % and muscle (if I remember correctly) - get yourself some and see if this shows anything that can motivate you. Might be worth seeing if anyone you know has some before forking out if you want to try them first. Taking body…
  • No idea! But still looking good
  • Pick a goal and stick to it, if completed go for another goal! If there is a reason behind the new you, then keep little reminders about the place so when you down and go to grab that bit of cake it hits you "I don't need cake, I got this"
  • Self control, next time you pick up or order something you know you shouldn't, consider how much work it is going to take to correct this mistake compared to the 5-10 minutes of enjoyment you have eating it!
  • Part of motivation is to find what gets you going, why are you trying to lose weight, how far to that goal and what is stopping you. These are the questions you need to ask yourself and if the answer to the last question is "it is too dark" then get some lights, get some hi-vis gear and get out there. I'm not confident in…
  • Everything! I got bogged down at school, bullied, was unfit and couldn't enjoy the sports I loved. Ended up in a dead end job, sitting on my *kitten* most of the day playing computer games and continued to gain weight. I then met my partner, 6 years in we had a child together and I realised I needed to change otherwise I…
  • Breakfast, if you don't have time for cereals or a sit down, you can always go for a smoothie packed with all the fruits you like. In regards to lunch, be creative, as others have said don't just use bread there are plenty of other options out there. Lots of pastas and soups you can do in a cup if you can get some boiling…
  • You create the recipe including the number of servings, so put in the full amount of ingredients you have used and the servings are used to divide this up to give you the correct calories etc.
  • If you continue to have the issue log with Tech Support
  • Any ideas on the calories for these little beauties?
  • As you say you can do that with spuds and pretty much any veg, gets the peeling and the mess out of the way. I know also that some ovens have times on, so you can prep any meat the night before and leave it in the oven to set it to start cooking for you the next day. (I personally don't have this function)
  • Eggs! My go to food, quick batch of scrambled egg, or an omelet with some ham or bacon for additional protein
