When you enter a recipe it asks how many servings there are and then it asks you to enter the information for the serving size. I feel like it should be asking for the total for each ingredient and then it should do the math to determine the calories etc for each serving. Am I reading it wrong?

You create the recipe including the number of servings, so put in the full amount of ingredients you have used and the servings are used to divide this up to give you the correct calories etc.0

Are you entering a recipe or a new food?
For a new recipe, you add the total amount of ingredients in, then the calculator divides it all up according to the serving size you entered.
If you're creating a new food (under "My Foods"), it will ask for the serving size and nutrition information for that particular serving size. Hope this clears it up for you!0 -
I tend to weigh the finished food and then divide to get calories per 100g so I can adjust portions0
