Life happens, and so does indulgence. You were smart enough to see it as a negative event and determined to change enough to log it. Next step is to be gutsy enough to forgive yourself and move on. Good luck - you're going to do wonderfully!

Greta ideas! I like using one can mixed with 1/4 cup pesto - yummy!

It used to be "heavier/thinner" for me, but that idea has become a part of "more fit/less fit" . I like how "fitter" feels so much more!

I usually eat what they do, but measure out my portions or omit certain things. On occasion, like Movie Night, I skip the pizza altogether and make my own meal. Good luck!

You don't. A succint, courteous "Thank you" is always appropriate.

1. If you're working out at home, good music and dvds/programs that you enjoy! 2. Enjoy the ride! It's exciting to realize that the work out is getting easier, or that you can do more, or, best of all, you want to do more or try something new. When I started at 1200/day, I became mean, tired, weak, and, a few times, dizzy. I determined that safety and a sane, loving relationship with my family (especially the little ones) was far more important than a number somebody's machine determined. In terms of starting the routine - Ten years ago I was doing The Firm, and their work out calander rotated their discs - one day cardio, one day cardio scuplt, one day abs. The next set I purchased was one day strength, one day cardio scuplt, one day cardio. Their calendars suggested every other day for beginners, two days…

The Firm's Power Yoga clocks in at 37 minutes, but I think that that includes the intro. Intermediate level with beginner modifications. I like it!

For me, it was how I felt before how I looked. It was easier to get up the steps and my clothes felt better, too! The visual came next - and I had to double take! (Eventually took my measurements, which was a gratifying eye opener, as well.) Good luck and have fun!
